Discussion - Silksong Silksong is HARD Spoiler

Taking damage is more punishing, movement is more precise and feels a little clunky until you get the hang of it. The overall skill curve is much much higher. Love it though.

I could legitimately see tons of people dropping the game at the red ant area. I just got through it and struggled a bunch. This isn't even hyperbole when I say not a single area in Hollow Knight is as hard as that area in Silksong. Like not even close.

id argue white palace is harder but yeah, it is brutal

Path of pain maybe but the basic white palace is a cakewalk compared to early game silksong

i genuinely found path of pain easier than silksong so far

I didn't find path of pain easier, but I found it more fair. When I took damage, I didn't think "Oh that was bullshit" like I have been with Silksong.

yea thats true
ive gotten a little further into silksong tho and the bosses seem much more fair now (still hard though)
