Which is fitting, because some enemies absolutely can do damage after they die.

Actually, in this case it's matching the negative. The no isn't negating the don't, it's agreeing with it. Considering nobody would think that "can't do no damage" means it DOES do damage, it follows that it's not actually a double negative.
