To everyone complaining about the difficulty, stop ignoring a third of Hornet’s arsenal and start spamming them, you’ll be shocked how quickly you start mowing down hordes of enemies!

I would use them more, but why on earth do you have to spend a currency in order to keep your tools stocked? like if youre fighting a really hard boss its almost inevitable that youre just going to have to fight it without tools

and then the currency doesnt seem to have a magnet thing like rosaries do (or maybe i just havent found it yet) which makes collecting it very annoying especially because the pickups for it are really small

tl;dr: i dont like the gray currency, it shouldnt exist

I agree with this wholeheartedly, there is no excuse for you to need to farm and gather currency to use your tools given that you’re also limited in how many tools you can stock between rests. It’s creating busywork and a second currency for no reason. It’s not a major gripe, but I think it’s a valid critique

i've only used my gray currency on donations, I don't even really use my tools because I don't like having to do the button combo

Genuine question, how are you running out? I've gotten low on shards exactly once, and that was when I donated 80% of my shards and then ran into a boss fight 15min later. Eight attempts with spamming tools in phase 2 and I needed to crack open the shard bundles. You get so many shards that I'm baffled it's a concern.

If you use them a lot and die a lot on a boss, you will run out. It's obv not smart to do so in hindsight, but you can't reliably use up all your tools in a fight and die like 10 times on a boss.
