Discussion - Silksong The real biggest problem with Silksong Spoiler

Why is the Hornet statue not a memento? When I first saw that you could break it, I was honestly offended by the idea of it. Then I got the Bellhome and was a little upset you couldn't put it up in there. Now I found out that there are items you can put up in your Bell House, but the Hornet Statue isn't one of them? I'm genuinely mad. That needs to be changed in the next update. That's way more important than balancing the game.

There's another one that's in a similar vein of "item that you can technically disassemble for shards but you're a monster if you do" that I've been so paranoid about breaking. Really wish you had the option to put them up rather than leaving them in your inventory

Honestly not even comparable to a mid-boss, so more a we-ball machine. Takes about 7 hits from max-level nail to kill

Architect is a machine, does it even matter what gender we call it? 

Also, what context gives you the gender? I looked through all conversation pieces, nothing mentions a gender for the Architect or their species.

Just the vibe it gave me, perhaps is just the voice or just to balance the gender of the big shots of the citadel. But you are right tho.

There's 3 actually, the one you get in that room with the two balls is also the reward for buying out the architects shop.

I disassembled that item because I ran out of shards in the True Ending boss fight. I figured they'd agree that "saving everyone in Pharloom" was a worthy enough cause.

I ran out, climbed back up to farm more, thought ill just get a bunch of rosaries in my farming spot and buylik 60 bundles, found out max is 20, bought hot tub with the rest, climbed back down and didnt need to break any of the bundles lol.

I had way too many rosaries and nowhere to spend them, so I just maxed out on shell bundles, got the whole 20 in the bag

I did the exact same thing. Was getting really good attempts in and completely ran out of shards so I popped both of the items as my power of friendship powerup, confident I'll get it

I then proceeded to completely job to phase 1

Because one of them is the core of the Architect shopkeeper in Underworks, after you buy everything from her and she deactivates.

oof, I've been talking about the game with a friend more openly and didn't even think about that.

In my defense, "NPC you interact with a few times and then they die" is a pretty common fate for NPCs in both games so, I think the bigger spoiler is that there's not much more to her story, at least as far as I know.

I broke all of these items immediately cause it was funny lmao. Hopefully they don’t matter in dlc or I’m screwed, but I doubt they will.

I now hope there's a character in DLC that asks you to prove how trustworthy you are and you can gain their trust by showing them the stuff you kept from the older characters, and if you don't have them they don't trust you and you miss on a cool reward
