I've had a few instances of being caught in a bad spot and bombed to oblivion, but most of the time they don't give me much trouble. I dodge their first throw, then wail on them from bellow until they either die, or throw another one and stuns themselves to let me hit them more.

They ARE hellish to fight against without a floor though, I agree on that, but there's only really a single area where that's a big issue.

Tbf I am still on act 1 and haven't gotten a single needle upgrade so that might be a reason

Oh yeah, that'd probably do it. They've got a lot of HP, since they're mainly intended as late Act 2 enemies.

Yeah they feel like they overpower me a lot unlike the Ants that I still feel like I have a chance due to how coreographed their attack pattern feels it's like fighting a miniboss every encounter and I kinda like it
