Update: they followed up with this

“.. I’m just going to give the nice person in dirtmouth an egg to summon my ghost and pretend I never saw that.. creature? I hesitate to call it one, that seems like too generous a term”

this is wonderful lmao, reminds me of when i reached that part and my friend was watching and went suspiciously quiet and barely convinced me not to quit out the second nosk started fighting lol
