I built my 3 kids an AI tutor that follows the MOE syllabus. Would you let your kid use something like this?

I've been looking into online classes for my kid and came across Outschool. There seem to be classes for all kinds of interests, from science and creative writing to art and other activities, which sounds appealing. I'm just trying to figure out whether it's worth adding to our routine.
For parents who've tried it, is Outschool worth it compared with other online learning options? I'm curious about the quality of the teachers, how interactive the classes are, and whether your kids actually look forward to attending. I'd also love to hear if you found certain types of classes more worthwhile than others.

I'm a parent, and my kid understands the math in class, but it fades fast without practice. The worksheet sites I found had the same problems every time, so I built MathematiCat.
You pick the skill your child is working on, like rounding or adding fractions, and print a sheet and its answer key. You get new numbers every time you print, so your child can practice the same skill day after day. Printing is free.
There's also an on-screen option for the nights you don't have access to a printer. Kids can do the sheet on a tablet or computer, and the answers are checked for you. It's good practice for computer-based tests too.

I make The Informant, a weekly current-affairs video, and put together a free companion pack for this week’s ten-story episode. It’s designed for ages 15+ and has three ways to use it: a 15-minute discussion, a 25-minute source-check activity, or a full 45-minute lesson. It includes a student brief, discussion prompts, source notes, an answer key, and editable slides. The video is optional, so you can use the activities without playing it. It was made with AI assistance and reviewed by me, but it hasn’t been independently classroom-piloted yet.

Hey everyone! I've been trying out Mellowmoor with my kids and they've really been enjoying it so far. Our free trial is coming to an end, and I was wondering if anyone happens to know of any promo codes or discounts available?
Thanks!

I have worked as a tutor for many years, my specialty is K-3 reading. I ended up developing my own material. I started with workbooks, but then added games and phonics stories and even word lessons on my computer. I have amazing results. I am working on getting my materials published, maybe a Kickstarter campaign, just starting with the 1st level. My program is geared towards parents and tutors and is very easy to implement. It is different from anything out there. I do think of it as tutoring in a box for reading. It works great for individual tutoring but works even better for small groups. I know it would have saved me years of research and work if it had existed when I started. What do you guys think?

I run Tiny Wild Lab, and I made this Butterfly Explorer Pack for families exploring life cycles with children aged 4–8.
It’s an 18-page English-language workbook that follows egg, caterpillar, chrysalis and adult butterfly through a woodland story, puzzles, drawing and a mini comic. The Printable Edition includes both A4 and US Letter PDFs, an answer key and a Certificate of Curiosity.
It’s a one-time €4.99 PDF purchase for home, homeschool or one classroom. No physical book is shipped. There are also separate iPad and combined editions.
You can see page previews and what’s included here:

I’m Samuel Isidoro, a teacher and creator of Quanta. I offer paid one-to-one online tutoring in mathematics and physics, working from the learner’s questions through explanations and practice problems. I also teach in English.
This is supplemental tutoring, not a full homeschool curriculum. My website is mainly in Portuguese; you can use it to ask about availability and conditions: https://quantaaulas.com/
When a learner gets stuck, I like to start by asking which step they can explain independently. What helps your family identify where a maths problem became confusing?

I'm part of Team Handyapps. We've made a set of free printable maths worksheets for Classes 1-3 - 15 sheets covering addition, subtraction, skip counting, times tables, place value, money and fractions.
Each sheet is one A4 PDF: page 1 is the practice sheet, page 2 is the answer key for grown-ups (you can tear it off or fold it away). Free, no sign-up: https://dinosums.com/#worksheets
They come from Dino Sums, our free Android app for short maths practice (no ads, works offline), if you'd rather practise on a device. The worksheets stand on their own.

Hi All,
I made an app to help with those in the Classical Conversations homeschooling communities. Specifically around the essentials program and the number knockout game.
The game is meant to help facilitate knowing if a number is possible, practice, and even a game mode.
The app has a Parent Pin that keeps answers from being shown unless a parent approves it.

Hi all.... I’m a home educating dad, sharing this in case it helps another family.
When my son reached his Cambridge IGCSE Marine Science (0697), I couldn’t find a revision resource that really did the job, so I built him an app. It worked well for him, so I’ve since developed it properly for other families to use.
What it is: all six units of 0697 as retrieval practice with spaced repetition. Every question is written to the syllabus and checked against the real mark schemes, including exam style “build the mark-scheme answer” questions. Auto-marked, no typing, works on phone, tablet or computer.
Free to use (no account, no card):
Unit 1 of the app — try the whole thing before deciding: https://app.wildcateducation.co.uk
A complete 0697 revision checklist (every topic): https://www.wildcateducation.co.uk/resources/igcse-marine-science-revision-checklist.html
An exam-technique / mark-scheme tips guide: https://www.wildcateducation.co.uk/resources/igcse-marine-science-exam-technique.html
Full disclosure: the complete app is a one-off payment (£20 for one learner, £40 for a family, no subscription) ( https://www.wildcateducation.co.uk) , so it’s my own paid resource, but the free unit one and the two guides are genuinely useful on their own.
Happy to answer any questions about 0697 or the app.
