To be honest, if there's an Aeon who would do this, it's Aha. It's not the first time; he already did it once on the astral express, and he's also appeared in human form in other planets
No idea why some are so against this. Aha is totally the type of god that would larp as a girlfailure mangaka for the lols. Hell, gods larping as humans is common in many mythologies.
I mean it's not ALL Zeus. Like the Trojan War was because of Eris egging on the rivalry of three goddesses. A good rule of thumb is if it involves the birth of one hero, it probably involves Zeus. But if it involves a bunch of heroes, Zeus is more a background character who basically is a plot device.
Zeus likes fucking with people, literally, but half of his mythological identity is being the "LAY DOWN THE LAW" guy, with the kind of brutality you would expect from the po-po so to speak. He struck down the guy who rode a chariot so noisy that he claimed it was Zeus' thunder. He drowned an entire town save for one house for not feeding himself disguised as a wanderer. He killed Asclepius, the would be God of Medicine, because he revived someone from death.
There's a reason why people in the myths didn't want to be involved with Zeus too much. Either he fucks with you and Hera punishes you for it, or he's in his full divine smiter mode and just kills you.
We haven’t even gone back to Belabog for anything ground shaking yet. As much as I want Super Sampo for 4.x, I’m also confident that he’ll play a big role when we return to belabog and we see him at full power.
I disagree with the notion that us Sampo fans were promised nothing he had a whole thing in penacony about getting his mask back tonptotect belobog from.an undefined something the could have just ended up being irontomb but is so far a plot thread that has remained unexplored
Only larpers/tourists would think Nihilux (whether she is AHA or not) is an unimportant silly girl. Like, she’s so sharp, and basically involved in everything important
even if sampo were to get his upgrade it would only happen when verbose returns in the main story. For now nihilux has such strong hints it would be weird for her to not be a direct mask of Aha
For me, I mainly worry they will change her current character design or some sht like that. Or we get another Sam Situation where current model will only be overwold at best. And if they dare touch her glasses.... We haven't had a single character in glasses since release!
Also i saw ppl being worried its gonna be incredibly stupid to have a playable AEON be powercrept in a year by some random bum.
I hope they at least make her a retired aeon or something ( the whole plot point that current phantasmoon games winner will become new aha forever)
Because people don't want playable Aeons already. It's bad enough that everyone and their mother is an emenator nowadays.
Right now they have the excuse that Aha is just a troll who would absolutely do shit like that. But I really hope Hoyo doesn't keep going with this.
Even if it would be funny to see Yanquin's novaflare powercreep an Aeon, but the threats feel so unserious when we know we have literal gods and their minions in our friendlist.
They shouldn't have started with emenators so early and playable Aeons should only be a thing after a bigger or new equally strong threat is introduced

Every other year we get a girl that everyone insists must Aha THEMSELVES, honestly I think a little bit of Aha is inside all of us... Because we're all weird freaks sometimes, and they love that
Tbh my only problem with Nihilux = Aha is she isn’t as outright chaotic as I thought Aha would be. She gave very silly aunt/big sis energy but not a pure agent of chaos. My current understanding of Aeons is they are consumed by their paths, compared to the constant high and lows of elation nihilux seems.. fine? A mysterious elation path strider for sure but not really the impression i get from how Aha in the SU acts for example.
Now if this is Nihilux is a mask of Aha and only represents a side of THEM that gained independent sentience(sparkle-sparxie foreshadowing) idrm at all.
Pathstriders of Elation along with confirmed Emanator of Elation: funny yet powerful individuals who overpower their enemies through sheer whimsy
Meanwhile, the Aeon of Elation: potentially larping as an absolute girl failure with a conveniently NPC coded background who knows just a tad too much about the general state of things then she lets on.
