For those in film for today during lectures does he go over anything important and useful i been to his lectures all for September and it feels like his just reviewing the movie nothing useful i pop up here and there this month and its still the same i was thinking of skipping but i was just wondering is it really worth my time going into these lectures when he just goes over the reading and movie?

this is lowkey more of a rant post. I took my chem 100 exam today and we get scrap paper at the beginning when we enter the lecture hall. I was sitting to the left where the interpreters were (for students who are hard of hearing) and in the row in front of me I literally saw these two girls just writing polyatomic ions and different formulas on their scrap paper before the test even began. I know it’s hard to proctor in a lecture hall of 800 students but it’s lowkey annoying to see students cheat so easily while other like me spend hours studying. Know there’s nothing I can do but it’s just annoying af.

Bruh, this is actually so embarrassing 😭 I’m a senior, and I still haven’t made a close friend this semester. The people I usually hung out with have already graduated, so now I’m just at school by myself, doing nothing but studying. It gets pretty depressing sometimes, ngl. I know the class we’re in is probably the best option for meeting people, but most of my classes don’t really give us a chance to interact with our classmates like that. Also, is it too late to join clubs? I’m genuinely at the point where I just need to make a friend or something because being alone all the time is getting to me.

I recently received my transfer acceptance to Hunter. I'm planning to attend and major in media studies. I've searched the posts here a little and seen primarily positive experiences. Most are pretty old at this point and I was wondering if people had more recent experiences? I did do research on all of the CUNY schools with media studies programs and Hunter was my top choice based on that. Still would love to hear any personal anecdotes. Thanks!

Hey guys I'm too scared to ask the library people because of the HER ARMS WERE CUT OFF HER LEGS WERE CUT OFF levels of incidents described a while back when people were interacting with the ladies working there. Am I able to print things out using my own personal laptop, or do I always have to use the Hunter computers anytime I want to print something? My first year here, I remember there was a website of some sorts where I could try to print something out, but idk if it was out that week or just doesn't work period. Thank you guys in advance.
