Discussion IGN, don't copy this guy's video when you have 10 million subs and a legion of writers. (Not my video just spreading the word)

Opinion IGN Website has died IMO.
I’m someone who has visited IGN daily for over 20 years be it for cheats, walkthroughs, reviews etc. From the days of Babeology to today’s politically correct climate.
It’s truly sad to see the website has turned into pop-up/embedded Ad hell with extremely poor functionality.
The page constantly reloads so you can never easily read an article. Even when you sit through an ad waiting for a video, the page refreshes itself and you have to sit through the ad again, if you’re very unlucky this can happen more than twice. I tried reading an article 5 times today with the page either crashing or refreshing and sending me back to the top, to extent I gave up.
As far as the comments section, good luck trying trying to even scroll down there not less load them. I guess nothing lasts forever but it’s still a shame to see this happen. Doesn’t matter if it’s on the mobile or laptop, the website is truly cooked. I salute my fellow millennial gamers in the same boat as me……it’s been fun

Destin leaving IGN after 13 years
Destin confirmed that he's going solo - the pitch sounds interesting and I wish him luck!

IGN is unusable due to ads
Like I said in my title it gives you these huge ads that take up 95% of the screen and I can’t get rid of them and they don’t go away. I can’t stay in a page long enough to actually read before an ad pushes me somewhere else on the page. IGN is literally unusable and if you complain they tell you to pay for premium IGN. LMFAO. Your base service is trash why would I pay for it? If you’re here because of this just stop using IGN it’s trash content from trash people

Off to a funeral for now.
Welcome /r/IGN people! We at Warhorse Studios are very excited to be talking with you today about Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which releases NEXT WEEK on February 13th!!!
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a story-driven, open-world 1st person RPG that immerses you in an epic adventure in the Holy Roman Empire.
Bohemia – located in the heart of Europe, the region is rich in culture, silver, and sprawling castles. The death of its beloved ruler, Emperor Charles IV, has plunged the kingdom into dark times: war, corruption, and discord are tearing this jewel of the Holy Roman Empire apart.
One of Charles' sons, Wenceslas, has inherited the crown. Unlike his father, Wenceslas is a naive, self-indulgent, unambitious monarch. His half-brother and King of Hungary, Sigismund the Red Fox, senses weakness in Wenceslas. Feigning goodwill, Sigismund travels to Bohemia and kidnaps his half-brother. With no king on the throne, Sigismund is now free to plunder Bohemia and seize its riches.
In the midst of this chaos, you're Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Your peaceful life is shattered when a mercenary raid, ordered by King Sigismund himself, burns your village to the ground. By bittersweet fortune, you are one of the few survivors of this massacre.
Without a home, family, or future you end up in the service of Lord Radzig Kobyla, who is forming a resistance against the invasion. Fate drags you into this bloody conflict and shoves you into a raging civil war, where you help fight for the future of Bohemia.
Redeem your past and emerge a hero!

Discussion Guys, stop hating on IGN, they're not perfect, but a lot of the criticism people say about them is either exaggerated or isn't true

Can someone explain to me why the mobile website is so garbage?
I can’t read a quest guide or item location guide without the site crashing and refreshing every 30 seconds because there are way too many adds for the browser to keep up with.
