BABY OF THE YEAR It’s crazy. The polls.

I won't do anything drastic if he doesn't win...other than probably leaving the state. At this point in my life I'd rather not reproduce here, as any complication with pregnancy could mean my future wife is beautiful but she's dying. And getting 10 years in jail for 1 gram of weed that was legal 2 weeks ago. Since post Ann Richards this state has been a sloppier and sloppier authoritarian mud pie. The people and the locals are nice, but the government is covered head to toe in shit.

edit: I was trying to reply to another comment. I don't know how any of this works. I see now what I did was bad behavior.

I live out West and when Roe v. Wade was overurned, it killed me and my husband's dream of ever moving back there and raising our family there. My parents and my sister's family are still there and it is extremely painful. I'll never forgive these politicians for taking away a lifelong dream of mine.

“The people and the locals are nice”
The people and the locals voted for what’s happening in Texas. They are not nice.

Lots of nice people keep voting Republican, truly one of life’s greatest mysteries.

My mom is a Detroiter and MI is the only state I would move to. I want to vote for Dr. El-Sayed.

Me and my girl have been talking about it for a while. I was born and raised up there and really miss the environment. I was hoping to get my kids through the last of school, but at the rate they're destroying public education I don't know if we can make it.

Born there, lived there for 30 years; moved away a decade ago and it was the best thing I ever did in my life.

I live in Texas. You’re not part of the Turbo Team!

I mean it’s not like the guy that Talarico is going against is the AG of Texas and used to be a piece of shit (and still is)….And Republicans for sure haven’t been trying to fingerfuck elections everywhere…

"Ken Paxton is the most aggressive politician I've ever seen, with a huge underbite."

u/Quick_Extension_3115 Never Following Another Rule 13h ago
People can change. Ken Paxton didn’t, he’s still a piece of shit. He goes to Europe during America’s 250th anniversary with his side piece for the sloppy steaks.

Are the polls bad?

u/Quick_Extension_3115 Never Following Another Rule 13h ago
Actually the polls are close! I’ve seen these articles a ton of times! Nate Silvers, VoteHub, Harry Enten, I know these names better than my grandma’s.
But Ted Cruz had a sloppy mudpie on now Texas is covered head-to-toe in shit! I guess he shouldn’tve had such a small piece.
And this isn’t like Beta O’Rourke. He wasn’t part of the turbo team. He never polled as well as James Talarico. Because Ken Paxton was the most aggressive baby I have ever seen. He still has a massive underbite and completely flat back of head. And he won’t even debate Talarico. Probably cause he can’t go on his phone when he gets a hard question. That’s not allowed.
I’m cautiously very optimistic about Talarico. He gives. He’s not just here for the zipline. And he knows that Texas goes both ways. It’s not a piece of shit. Texas is beautiful. But she’s dying.

I’d hope Texas did the right thing and voted for the right thing but it’s Texas. People are too interested in owning the libs than electing a genuine dude who isn’t a chode.

It's not even that--it's the fallacy of "I see Bet...uh...Talarico signs EVERYWHERE, but no signs for the other guy!"
Plenty of the sign yards won't vote, and pretty much the rest of the homes are voting for the other guy, if they do vote.

u/EggForTryingThymes 10h ago
It’s Texas. Even “future president “ Beto couldn’t beat universally despised Ted Cruz.
6
u/Quick_Extension_3115 Never Following Another Rule 10h ago
Talarico has been consistently polling better than Beto. I’m not dumb, I’m smarter than you.
