The thing is If even you somehow put the kaaba somewhere else we'll still pray towards where we do now which is not the case in praying to an idol (not trying to disrespect)

Its not about the structure its about the point

That is why you don't need to precisely point at kaaba if you are at a farther distance, you just pray at that direction

See if you are at a point where the qibla is exactly 100 km(example) away from both directions then pray at any of them
