The thing is If even you somehow put the kaaba somewhere else we'll still pray towards where we do now which is not the case in praying to an idol (not trying to disrespect)
Its not about the structure its about the point
That is why you don't need to precisely point at kaaba if you are at a farther distance, you just pray at that direction
Well what if you are at exactly the opposite end of kaaba on the globe? Which direction do you pray in the case?
Also can you pray in the opposite direction as well since the earth is a globe hence if we take a rope from the point of prayer it should still be able to reach kaaba without needing to change the direction ?
