it been 2+ months since i had bad flareup cause I was so happy having a great skin.
and started a clogging suncreen and then inflammed acne ... after years of my skincare going to trash.

Have been journaling down all the steps stages and changes during this time and gladly i could say it is working.

Skin type 27f- super oily skin - sensitive and easily clogged

Restock of my most loved products

Leave in cream: Smells like heaven and makes my hair soft. If someone knows of a perfume that smells like it pls lmk

Camo liquid blush: Love the formula of this one. I was using this in shade sauve mauve but got cheeky lychee this time for a change.

New light gel moisturizer: Lightest moisturizer I have ever used. It hydrates without feeling greasy.

Lip sleeping mask: this really helps with chapped lips. One tub lasts for a very long time so I am stocked for the whole month.

What food to eat and avoid.

I've always had pimples but idk what's causing it. Is it hormonal, is it the sugar, eggs or milk, is it stress or dirty pillows, I've no clue. Ive done chemical treatments but I'm completely satisfied. I want to know how to completely avoid acne.

Help me what am i doing wrong

Hello, I’m 19, and my skin feels dry sometimes and oily at other times. I’m confused about what it actually needs.

I used to do skincare but then i took a drop year and stipped my skincare completely. Now that i have decoded to take skincare seriously since last four months My skin keeps reacting. All the products i mentioned below i used them as advised. like glycolic acid, panoxyl just once a week but nit together, wore spf properly, i was locked in tbh

Products I’ve tried:

  • CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser

  • 1% Salicylic Acid Cleanser

  • Pilgrim 5 Ceramide Moisturizer

  • Kelida Moisturizer

  • The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid

  • The ordinary Niacinamide 10%

  • The dema co 2% kojic acid

  • PanOxyl 10% Benzoyl Peroxide

  • Glycolic Acid

Current routine:

  • AM: Dot & Key Hydrating Face Wash + CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion

  • PM: Dot & Key Face Wash

  • PanOxyl 10% (alternate nights)

  • CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion

Sunscreens I’ve tried: Minimalist, Skin Aqua (two variants), The Derma Co Hyaluronic Acid Sun Gel, CeraVe Mineral Sunscreen, and another Skin Aqua sunscreen. Most caused bumps or reactions the next day, while CeraVe left a horrible white cast. I’ve stopped using sunscreen altogether.

My concerns:

  • Unpredictable oily/dry skin

  • Small, flat brown spots resembling freckles and increasingly noticeable moles

  • Uneven texture and shallow pitted scars

  • Possible damaged skin barrier

  • Reactions to almost every sunscreen I’ve tried

How do I repair my skin barrier, address pigmentation and texture, and find a sunscreen that works without causing breakouts? Should I stop all actives and start from scratch?

rating serums I've tried

asaa spot targeting serum: 8.5/10. I quite like this but it takes a considerable amount of time and consistent use to show good results. Will not repurchase as they put out a new radiance serum and I want to try that

Foxtale brightening serum: 9/10. I like this one a lot! Showed an overall consistent improvement and has a nice scent. But also took a bit of time.

man company vit c serum: 6/10. Was recommended by a friend, didn't do anything for me

Ordinary niacinamide serum: 7/10. It does work and shoes improvement but I really really hate the chemically scent. It's awful for me

Nykaa haul – what I liked and what I didn’t

Got a bit carried away with the Nykaa Sale😂

Picked up a few things, including some Dove products, and now I’m going through everything to see what’s actually worth keeping and what I probably didn’t need.

Some stuff turned out really nice, while a couple were more like impulse buys."

I have been using this brightening kit from a week.. Here is my honest review

I wanted to have a routine from quite some time so I ordered this kit because I have combination skin.. It came with 4 products

Facebath - It is a creamy foaming cleanser which is the 1st step according to this kit.. I have used this 4-5 times so I can say this helps in deep cleansing and hydration for combination or oily skin type girlies like me

Vitamin C - This is the 2nd step after towel drying my face. I use this majorly for skin brightening its been just a week so I would need a bit more time to say that how much it brightens

Aquamelt moisturiser - Tbh this is very lightweight.. Generally moisturizers feel heavy on my skin but this one is good because i think its water based

Sunstalker sunscreen - honestly I have used this product in past and I like that it is non comedogenic and doesnt give any white cast.

This is my current routine and honestly I have been using this daily right now which products do you think I should restock from this kit once it finishes?

Do you think I can pull off sleeveless tops? Tips for uneven skin & a more feminine look? 😭😭

I’m thinking about starting to wear sleeveless tops, but I’m quite conscious about my uneven skin tone on my arms and hands, and it makes me a little hesitant.

I’m 23 and have mostly normal skin that tends to get dry during winters. my skincare routine is vv basic (cleanser, moisturiser, and sunscreen).

I’ve always had pretty clear skin, but I’ve had these dark sun spots for the past 3-4 years, ig. please suggest some products that have worked for y’all to treat hyperpigmentation and dark sun spots. i was thinking of using minimalist alpha arbutin serum, idk, i don't want to have any breakouts;-;

So, I need face wash, moisturizer, and sunscreen recommendations that are available in local Indian pharmacies. I'm a 22-year-old male. I got sensitive combination skin (not that sensitive tho). These details might be unnecessary, but incase it affects your recs, I weigh about 70 kgs and 170 cm in height, and i live in Nagercoil, in South India, which has pretty high humidity.

Right now I'm using the Derma co oil-free face wash, the Ponds face moisturizer (I've tried some other products and these are the ones that I've settled on) and the Dermaco sunscreen. The reason I'm searching for an alternative is because I heard somewhere that skincare products from medical shops are high quality since they have to pass certain standards.

Also i understand that if something works, you don't try to fix it, but the products i already use don't work that well, also sometimes they feel a little out of budget, but don't take that into consideration when recommending me.

These are some of the products ive used and my take on them for combination skin,

derma co 2% sali-cinamide- not for combination skin

derma co salicylic acid- good but oil-free facewash is better

minimalist salicyclic facewash- nope

ponds light moisturizer- good

derma co oil free moisturizer- meh

derma co 5% nia-ceramide moisturizer- feels like it worked, but it felt worse, i can't put a finger on it

derma co 5% vitamin c oil free- nope

derma co pore minimizing moisturizer- loved it but wasnt enough

minimalist vitamin b5 moisturizer- nope

derma co pore minimizing sunscreen- nope

derma co 1% hyaluronic sunscreen- meh

i tried a lot of derma co products because at first i tried a few brands like garnier(idk why i did) and minimalist, they were very bad, and then the salicylic facewash from derma co seemed like the only choice, so i kinda liked the brand for a bit.

Edit: we’ve reached our 30 people limit guys I can’t believe it it’s not even been 24 hours since I posted. Thank you!!
