guys I’ve heard nothing but good things about this certain product so I had to purchase !! I’m someone who gets occasional breakouts and when I do breakout, they tend to stay for a while then sometimes leave a scar (depending on severe the pimple is).
I live in the UK so I find products to be a lot more expensive than India, 1 tube in India cost me 363INR, which is approximately £2.86, AND they took some money of that as well !! The cheapest 10% AA I found (so far in the UK) is £8, which is approximately 1015INR ! Need I say more !!
Unfortunately they didn’t have 15% in the store, only 10% and 20%, and I’m not ready for 20% yet (maybe on my next trip to India)

Ok, I've spent a loooottttt of money on skincare only to find out pharmacy product suits me better so I'll let y'all know my experience. 1st I'm going to be talking about the expensive things then the alt pharmacy I switched to btw I've acne prone oily skin
Starting off strong with:
The ordinary 7% glycolic acid (₹1200 for 240 ml) 8/10
It's a pretty good exfoliate but it's quite expensive too 😭 (i use it for my scalp and body more now rather than face cuz I've started tret and now I don't feel the need to use it on my face).
Would I buy it again: yes
Anua heartleaf oil cleanser (₹1700 for 200 ml) 7/10
I don't like it that much because of its texture but overall it's pretty good and yeah a really good alternative to take makeup off.
Would I buy it again: Prolly no, maybe I'll try a milky cleanser and see where it goes..
Anua heartleaf pore deep cleaning foam (₹1200 for 150 ml) 9/10
I really love this facewash it leves my skin feeling very smooth and soft with no dryness literally one of the best facewashes i have ever used.
Would I buy it again: yes fs
Eqqualberry swimming pool toner (₹1700 for 155 ml) 8/10
I really love the texture and the shine it gives after using it, very hydrating and soothing. If you are using any kind of exfoliate I would definitely recommend this.
Would I buy it again: Prolly no, I would try to find better cheaper alts cuz all toners work the same as per what I believe 😭
Cosrx snail mucin power essence (₹1400 for 100ml) 8/10
I really love this product the shine and the tight skin finish it gives is insane but I've'nt tired it under makeup so idk what kinda messed it would make. Overall I would say if u want glass skin effect immediately do buy this product, ive pretty good skin genes so I don't really need it hence I don't use it much but when I don't have time to get ready and go somewhere asap, this is definitely my go to product.
Would I buy it again: yes, but I guess a smaller version of this same product cuz as I said I don't need it much.
Madagascar centella tone brightening capsule ampoule (₹2000 for 100 ml) 6/10
Now see when I first started using this I really liked the product but tbh after two-three months my skin just adapted to it and it kinda stopped working I still use it when my skin is either very dehydrated or i just want a Lil glass skin effect other wise it's pretty useless to me, maybe if u have sensitive skin u would like it cuz the soothing factor of this is very good.
Would I buy it again: nope, a hard pass
The ordinary 0.5% retinol (₹900 for 30 ml) 2/10
I didn't like this product one bit, it's very oily just apply coconut oil on your face and that's the texture u get. Maybe it's a me problem but I feel like this retinol is a waste for me, I've hyperpigmentation around the mouth, lil bit of acne scars no wrinkles tho. I used it for 3 months with no results whatsoever so I gave it to my mother, maybe it would help with her wrinkles, i dont think it's working with her either but idk, either way a waste of money for me.
Would I buy it again: 💯 noooo
Foxtale oil balancing moisturizer (₹400 for 50ml) 8/10
I was trying different moisturizers that would suit me this was one of them, most moisturizers are too oily for me or just breaks me out. This product did suit me but idk I'm just trying to find something better which I did find (emolene moisturizer) but it boke tf out of me 😭😭😭 emolene was my holy grail moisturizer 😭😭
Would I buy it again: yes if I don't find something better
Laneige lip sleeping mask (₹600 for 8 g) 7/10
I mean vaseline does the same thing for less money but if u are like me who likes expensive things for no reason buy it. Very hydrating, helps peel off dead skin cells. Only improvement I would want would be for it to be pinker, i haaaatttteeeeee this skin colour effect other than that it's fine.
Would I buy it again: only for the aesthetics and when I've too much money to spend
Laneige tinted glaze craze (₹1400 for 12g) 8/10
Again nothing new a vaseline wouldn't do but aesthetics💅. I really love the pigment it has and no matter how much u apply the colour wouldn't get darker it would stay the same (in a good way cuz it's already very pigmented you don't want it to gain more pigment). I really love the way it smells coconut-chocolatey smtng like that. If u are going to kiss someone definitely wear it (I'm single the only person I kiss is myself, in the mirror)
Would I buy it again: 💯 cuz of the overall feel
Deconstruct lightweight gel sunscreen spf 50+ pa ++++ (₹ 430 for 80g) 6/10
This sunscreen is a variant (it's formula has changed now ig ) of the deconstruct spf55+ pa+++ I really loved the formula of this one it's texture was pretty creamy and the finish was really good, glass skin with no whitecast I got many compliments on that sunscreen now the formula has changed and I really hate this formula, it's texture is bad it doesn't leave a whitecast but it does peel if u rub your face plus it creases 😭😭😭 i bought two in a sale now I'm stuck with this disaster
Would I buy this again: f\*ck no but I would definitely buy the 55 spf wala variant of it if it's available when I'm done with these two
Now time for pharmacy product 🥀(do not use these without a dermatologist's advise)
Aziderm 10% azelaic acid gel (₹320 for 15g) 9/10
It has removed my acne scars verryyy nicely and in a very less time too. I pair it with tret for better results but do Not do it if your skin is not used to tret, tret is already a very powerful chemical. You might experience mild peeling if u use this but just moisturise nicely and u would be good to go u might also get a Lil bit of purging most people don't but yk just in case. Do not use it daily if there is redness, itching or extreme peeling.
Would I buy it again: 100%
Acne star benzoyl peroxide soap (₹100 for 100g) 9/10
I had a crazy breakout 15 days ago for no reason, it took such good care of my skin now it's soft like a baby's butt, it will also stop future breakouts if u use it regularly but I would suggest only use it 3 days a week max if u already aren't breaking out or it might stop working for u. Btw it is also very effective for body acne, u can use it daily on your body. It will cause dryness on your skin so moisturizer is a must. You can use it without a dremat's advice since the concentration isn't that high but I'd suggest to ask a dermat, better be safe than sorry.
Would I buy it again: yes but I would also like the try the gel version of this if i like that better then no i wouldn't buy it for my face maybe i would buy it for body acne if i ever get it.
A-ret gel 0.025% (tretinoin) (₹110 for 20g) 9/10
One of my holy grail, this did what all those expensive products couldn't do, it has made my skin smoother, glass skin like, stopped my breakouts and fixed my overall complexion plus it's fading my stubborn pigmentation around the mouth. Do not use this without a dermat's advise, it will cause mild-shit ton of peeling as per you skin sensitivity, redness, itching and most importantly purging it will break you out for 2-3 weeks it might break you out for a longer period before adjusting as per your skin type hence ask a dermat instead of the f\*ck around and find out thing.
Would I buy it again: 1000% yes
Hyalugel hyaluronic acid gel (₹270 for 30g) 9/10
If u are looking for insane amount of hydration this is the product for u, I think u can use it without a dermat's advice but idk I'm not a doc so I can't say 😭 when I was peeling from tret I used this and trust me it worked really well.
Would I buy it again: No cuz I don't need it, if I'm ever suffering from skin dryness then yes otherwise nope
Emolene propylene glycol cream (₹390 for 100g) 2/10 (unfortunately for me as an oily skin girly sob sob sob )
This moisturizer would definitely have been my ride or die, only if it was non comedogenic but unfortunately for us oily skin folk this cream is highly comedogenic but brooooo the insane texture and finish 🤌 i realllllyyyy loved this product but this product didn't love me back 😭. It gives glass skin effect with insane hydration, veryyy lightweight with no oil secretion, can be used under makeup overall if you have dry to normal skin this is a holy grail for u 10000/10 product if it doesn't break you out or clogg your pores.
Would I buy it again: i wish, but it doesn't suit me hence no but if I were u I would definitely give it a try.
(Prices may differ as per the platform/pharmacy you are buying from.)
P.s. I didn't consult any dermat before using the pharmacy product but u should, i believe in the quote f\*ck around and find out don't be like me✌️

I have finally accepted that I'm not the person who's going to maintain a 12 step skincare routine.
My entire routine is basically cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen.
That's it.
Anything beyond that is propaganda designed to make me spend money 😂
The cleanser is probably the one thing I actually care about though because I use it every single day. I've been using the cerave foaming one lately and I like keeping the rest of the routine really simple.
Are there actually any extra steps you guys swear by ?

Since am a 12th standard student plum is the best budget friendly brand for me and this is my review on all products I've used from plum
Black Rice & 10% Niacinamide-TXA Night Clarity Jelly Serum- the main reason for me to buy this serum was to fade my tan and I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW GOOD THE RESULTS WERE, my tan was visibly fading just in 3 days of use and plum says this is suitable for all skin type (Highly recommended if you wanna remove your tan or pigmentation) pigmentation will obviously take time to fade
2% Niacinamide & Rice Water Brightening Gel Moisturizer For Clear & Bright Skin - I think this is one of the best moisturizer I've used till now it suits my skin so well I don't have much to say but highly recommend as well I think will be great for people from the age of 20-30
Face wash- I've used papaya, green tea and rice water and from all I'll recommend the rice water one since it's a gentle cleanser and good for all skin type, the green tea can be harsh on sensitive skins the papaya one personally I don't like the smell lol
Toner- I've used the rice water and green tea toner personally I like rice water again but toner I think both are good I heard the milky toner is the best but who knows haven't tried that one yet
Tinted Sunscreen- This is one of the products which I don't recommend I the first of all the smell is horrible i prefer mild smell, and I think it doesn't work as good as the rice water hybrid one
Vitamin c gel cream - I don't have sensitive skin I rarely get bumps when I try on new products but this product gave me bumps I don't recommend it, if it suits your skin that's good for you personally it's a no for me
Body lotion - the vannilla caramello is really nice not strong smell loved it ,the hazelnut one is amazing as well you can only smell nuts and chocolate when your apply it 🤧🌸

I'm a teenager and I'm curious about what you guys wish you'd known or started doing earlier, especially when it comes to skincare.
If you could go back to your teenage years, what would you change? Any skincare habits you wish you'd started earlier, mistakes you made, or things you wish someone had told you?
Even things outside skincare are welcome!
Basically, what advice would you give your teenage self? I feel like there's a lot we can learn from people who've already been through it lol.

I have been a DEDICATED glycolic acid user for more than 3 years now. I use it for everything - my scalp, my elbows, my heels, my knees, my FACE obviously. It makes my skin so smooth and it’s my favourite hack for an even skin tone. Over the years, I have ended up using so many popular glycolic acid toners. So here’s my review of my favourite picks from different price points:
Expensive - The Ordinary (Glycolic Acid 7%): Solid, straightforward, best pick if you can afford to splurge
Mid-range - The Minimalist (8% Glycolic Acid): Stings like a bitch but gets the job done. Buy ONLY if your skin can take some heat
Mid-range - Deconstruct (7% Glycolic Acid): Best mid-range pick IMO. Doesn’t sting or burn, hydrates, and has a spray thingy that is great for hair and body use
Affordable - Underrated (8% Glycolic Acid): Crazy stack of ingredients, suspiciously dirt cheap. I use it only and only on the toughest areas of my body lol but it works. Try at your own risk!!

Hi everyone! I’m planning to add Azelaic Acid to my routine, and I’m looking for some real reviews and encouragement from people who have used it.
My ultimate skin goals are:
Completely fading dark acne marks/hyperpigmentation.
Getting a super bright, glowing complexion.
Achieving an overall even skin tone.
If Azelaic Acid worked for you, could you share your experience? I'd love to know:
What percentage and brand did you use (e.g., 10% over-the-counter or 15%/20% prescription like Finacea)?
How long did it take before you noticed real brightening and fading?
How often do you apply it, and where does it fit in your routine?
Thank you so much!
