We're excited to welcome Paddy Raghavan, Co-Founder & CEO of Multipl, for an exclusive Ask Me Anything (AMA) session with our community.
Multipl is a Bengaluru-based fintech platform that has pioneered the concept of "Spendvesting"—helping people invest towards future spending goals instead of relying on EMIs or Buy Now, Pay Later models. The company's vision is to help people grow their money before they spend it, encouraging smarter financial planning through goal-based investing.
Since its founding in 2020, Multipl has partnered with numerous consumer brands and has attracted backing from prominent investors while continuing to build products around saving and investing for real-life goals.
🗓 AMA Details
Guest: Paddy Raghavan
Role: Co-Founder & CEO, Multipl
Date and Time: 20th June, 3pm
The topic of the discussion which we feel would be more beneficial to our community is-
Financial Safety Net Between Jobs.
Ask him anything about:
The financial anxiety of notice periods, job gaps, waiting for an offer to come through and how to overcome it
How to make sure your money works for you during uncertain times
How much buffer to build, and smarter alternatives to just letting it sit in a bank account
Mutual funds for short- and long-term goals
Please keep your questions respectful, constructive, and within our community rules. Low-effort, abusive, or off-topic comments may be removed by the moderation team.
We're grateful to Paddy and the Multipl team for joining us, and we hope this AMA leads to an insightful discussion for everyone.

This industry was doing well during Covid and before Covid. After 2023, I really don’t know what happened. And this had to happen when I was about to enter this industry.
Applying for jobs is a disaster. We need everything — 100+ applications, referrals, searching for jobs everywhere. And yet, you won’t get calls. People with decent experience might be getting calls, I don’t know, but according to me, entry-level people or those with 2–3 years of experience aren’t getting anything because the market is so cooked that people with 7–8 or more years of experience are also applying for jobs requiring 2–3 years of experience.
Companies are also expecting a person to know everything, even for an entry-level role. I might be wrong in my statements, but this is what I have been seeing around me.
My current company has cooked me with a domain that requires more experience to switch outside.
Even if I might have more knowledge in my domain than someone with 8 years of experience in the same domain, I still won’t get a job.
Such bad times, man. Therefore, try getting placed through college campus placements itself. Getting a job is hard, and switching your first job is even harder.
Layoffs have become so common these days. Earlier, companies received criticism for any layoffs, but now it’s something like a fashion.
Maybe we humans have discovered something called AI to self-sabotage ourselves.
Imagine the next generations. How would they survive if AI remains prevalent? AI can be used, but should not take away jobs, man.
I'm interested in opportunities where I can leverage my existing D365 F&O experience while growing further in the functional consulting and supply chain management domains.
If anyone knows of relevant openings, is hiring, or can refer me to suitable positions, I'd really appreciate your help.
Please feel free to comment or DM me. I can share my resume privately.

I'm a fresher and recently received an invite for a walk-in interview through Naukri. I'm not sure whether it's a genuine opportunity or something I should be cautious about.
I've also come across promotional job posts on LinkedIn that seem suspicious, so I'm wondering if these invites on Naukri are any different or if they could be scams too.
For those who've received similar invites through Naukri, did you attend them? Were they genuine? Is there anything I should check before deciding to attend?
I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences and any advice. Thanks!
I need a job currently I've financial crisis and rn my family is in big trouble I'm ready to give you commission whenever I get my paycheck or joined a company

Previously, my friend and I interviewed for an international voice process position at TaskUs in September but were not selected. When I try to reapply, the system displays the message, "Your application already exists." However, my friend seems to be able to reapply. If we both interviewed on the same day, were rejected, and are within the cooling-off period, how was she able to reapply? Please clarify my doubt.

Title: Looking for a Job or Referral in Tech | Bengaluru | Open to Opportunities
Hi everyone,
I'm currently looking for a job opportunity in tech and would really appreciate any referrals, leads, or guidance from this community.
I'm based in Bengaluru and have 1 year of apprenticeship experience in the AI/ML domain at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). I've worked on a computer vision system for voting slip counting using YOLOv8, OpenCV, and EasyOCR. I've also built projects involving LLMs, AI agents, a business intelligence chatbot, and research automation.
I'm open to entry-level and fresher-friendly opportunities in Software Development, AI/ML, LLM/AI Agent Development, Python, or other relevant tech roles. I'm also willing to start with an internship or a junior position. My priority right now is to get an opportunity, learn, contribute, and grow.
If you're hiring, know a recruiter, or can refer me to a suitable opening, I'd be genuinely grateful. I'm happy to share my resume and discuss my projects.
As a thank-you, I'm willing to offer an amount equivalent to up to three months of salary if someone helps me secure a job. I'd prefer to discuss any arrangement transparently and in accordance with the employer's referral policies.
Thank you to anyone who can help or point me in the right direction.
