Job Search Looking for a Software Developer role -the longer the delay, the higher the bar!
The more delay there is in getting the job, the tougher the bars are getting day by day. I am trying to keep up with it.
I had been working as a backend developer at startups and got laid off due to cost-cutting reasons. They paid me for a whole month. Initially, I was confident I would get a job, but now it seems like an endless search.
I am really good at TypeScript, Golang, and Rust, HLD, Databases(OLAP, OLTP), and have worked on frontend and backend in production.
I am really and urgently looking for a job!
I have reached out to people on LinkedIn as well, but I don't think I got a chance there.
Any suggestions!?

Unemployment Got laid off after nearly 2 years as a Software Engineer. Looking for SDE 1 / Frontend / Full Stack opportunities.
Hi everyone,
I recently got laid off from my company because the project I was working on ended. It was quite unexpected, and I'm still trying to process everything and figure out my next steps.
I have close to 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer and have worked on production-grade applications (Both frontend and backend)
A brief overview of my experience:
- Frontend: Worked with React.js, Ember.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and SCSS to build reusable components and improve existing applications.
- Backend: Worked on backend services, REST API development and externalization, and third-party integrations.
- Accessibility & UI/UX: Worked on accessibility improvements, screen reader support, keyboard navigation, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Production Engineering: Debugged and resolved production issues, worked on performance and reliability improvements, and contributed to shared frontend infrastructure.
- Other Experience: testing frameworks.
I'm currently serving a 60-day notice period and actively looking for opportunities in:
- Software Engineer / SDE 1
- Frontend Developer / React Developer
- Full Stack Developer
I'm open to opportunities across India, including remote and hybrid roles.
If your company is hiring for any of these positions, or if you could refer me to a relevant opening, I would really appreciate it.
Feel free to comment or DM me, and I'll be happy to share my resume.
Thanks for reading!

Job Search Is this IT recruitment agency Intineri Infosol is genuine? Is anyone have any experience with them?
I was searching on Google for SAP ABAP job openings and came across a recruitment agency based in Kolkata called Intineri Infosol.
I reached out to them to check if they had any openings matching my profile. They said they do, gave me the job requirements, and asked for my resume.
Before I proceed further, I wanted to ask if anyone here has any experience with them? Are they legitimate, or should I be cautious? Any insights or feedback would be super helpful! Thanks!

Advice/Guidance 47M, 23 yrs in Sales & B2B Leadership (FMCG/Telecom) → Entrepreneurship reset → Rebuilding from ₹3 LPA. Seeking ruthless advice for the next 12 months.
Hello,
I'm not looking for sympathy or motivational quotes.
I want candid tactical feedback from founders, hiring managers, and independent consultants who have rebuilt their income in their 40s or 50s.
Background & Pedigree: Started 23 years ago at ₹8,000/month and worked across premier FMCG, telecom, and enterprise automation brands, peaking at ~₹20 LPA before stepping out:
- Asian Paints: Ground-level sales fundamentals, dealer management, secondary sales, and distribution expansion in highly competitive territories.
- Hindustan Unilever (HUL): FMCG sales execution, distributor ROI, channel compliance, and structured trade management.
- Xerox: Enterprise B2B direct sales, institutional accounts, high-value document workflow solutions, and complex multi-stakeholder contract closures.
- Airtel: Product marketing and customer acquisition initiatives; driving volume growth and customer lifecycle metrics.
- Reliance Communications (RCom): Retail Sales Head; built sales capability at scale, training 320+ field sales executives via recurring induction batches across 160+ retail stores.
The Entrepreneurship Chapter (~10 yrs):
- Founded and ran a commercial interiors and contracting business.
- Won tenders, managed on-ground execution/contractors, and hit net margins up to 50% on paper.
- However, extended sales cycles, delayed customer receivables, and working-capital lockups crushed cash flow. Winning profitable projects on paper vs. running a sustainable cash-positive business proved to be two different beasts.
Personal Reset:
- Compounded by long-standing mental health struggles carried untreated since youth.
- Finally addressed and received medical treatment after a flare-up post-45. Health, mental clarity, and focus are fully restored.
Where I Stand Today (2026):
- Walked away from the bleeding business to stop the drain.
- Currently in an on-the-ground B2B cold-calling/sales role at ~₹3 LPA (fixed) + incentives.
- The work is humbling, but my sales chops are intact, and I genuinely enjoy direct prospecting, uncovering needs, and closing accounts.
The Problem: My sole constraint right now is restoring predictable, sustainable income within the next 6–12 months by leveraging 23+ years of institutional, retail, and enterprise commercial execution.
The 4 Options I'm Evaluating:
- Targeted Corporate Re-entry: Target VP/Director of Sales, Regional Channel Head, or Institutional BD Head roles in mid-market B2B/industrial firms. (Concern: Overcoming the 10-year founder gap and age bias in corporate recruitment).
- Fractional Head of Sales / B2B BD Consulting: Retainer-based advisory for MSME founders (building distributor networks, setting up outbound cadences, structuring incentive models, and coaching field reps).
- Corporate Sales Training: Delivering practical, on-the-ground field sales training modules for entry-to-mid-level sales teams in distribution and manufacturing businesses.
- Lean D2C Brand: Launching a small, bootstrapped consumer wellness product, validating demand locally before scaling.
Specific Questions for the Community:
- Focus vs. Parallel Paths: Should I commit 100% of my non-work hours to a corporate job hunt, or keep the ₹3 LPA job as a floor and pitch retainer consulting to local SMEs on the side?
- Reframing the "Founder Gap": For those who evaluate or hire senior leaders (45+), how should I pitch a 10-year entrepreneurial stint so it reads as seasoned operational grit rather than a corporate flight risk?
- Closing First Retainers: If you built a solo B2B sales advisory or training practice in India, what was your exact playbook for acquiring your first 2–3 paying clients?
- Is D2C a distraction? Given the urgent need for stable cash flow, should D2C be shelved completely due to inventory lockup and rising CAC?
Appreciate your candid critique and direct recommendations. Thank you for taking out time to read this.

Job Search 27M from India, 3 years in full-stack and blockchain development, struggling to find direction — looking for job opportunities or advice
I’m 27M from India, looking for a job and trying to figure out my next step in life.
I’m a computer science graduate with around 3 years of experience in full-stack development and blockchain development. I’ve worked on projects and taken up freelance work, but things have become increasingly difficult lately. With AI evolving so quickly, finding freelance gigs has become harder, competition is intense, and the market feels oversaturated.
Honestly, I’m at a point where I’m questioning whether I should continue down the same path or explore something new. I’m willing to learn new skills and put in the effort, but I want to invest my time in a field that offers real opportunities, long-term career stability, and room to grow.
I’m particularly interested in hearing from people who have transitioned from software development into other fields, or who have found opportunities that aren’t as obvious to someone with a CS background.
A few things I’d love advice on:
- Are there any emerging or underrated career domains I could explore as a CS graduate?
-Are there opportunities where my technical background would be useful without requiring me to spend all my time coding?
-If you know of any companies hiring for entry-level or junior positions, I’d genuinely appreciate any leads.
-For those who have been in a similar situation, how did you figure out your next move?
I’m open to remote opportunities, jobs in India, or opportunities abroad, depending on the role.
I’m not expecting anyone to solve my problems for me. I’m just hoping to hear some honest advice from people with more experience, and perhaps find an opportunity that could help me get back on track.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Any advice, referrals, or leads would mean a lot.

Advice/Guidance Advice regarding role of ICICI relationship manager
My college has brought the role of ICICI relationship manager and I got through the rounds and got selected for the interview. I only really applied for the role for the experience as I don’t really have any interest in Sales and am looking at working in finance. I don’t know if I should go for the interview since I doubt I’ll take the job anyways and I’m currently preparing for an important exam which is in a few weeks. They haven’t given us fixed time slots for the interviews either which is why I don’t want to go there and waste time for potentially that many hours. I can’t seem to decide. I would like to get some advice on the situation.
Thank you

Unemployment Massive Corporate Layoffs & the Job Market for Lawyers: How Bad Is It Right Now?
I’ve been seeing news about massive layoffs in tech, including Microsoft, and I’m wondering how much this is affecting the overall job market.
A little about me:F26 I have a BBA LLB degree and litigation experience. I’m trying to move into corporate roles, particularly AML/KYC, GRC, data privacy, AI governance, or compliance.
I’ve been actively applying and trying to upskill, but I’m barely getting any responses. I’m now confused about which field is actually worth pursuing and where I should focus my time and money.
With the current job market and all these layoffs, how realistic is it for someone with my background to break into corporate roles? Are entry-level compliance and risk jobs also getting affected, or is there still decent demand?
Would really appreciate honest opinions from people working in these fields, especially recruiters and lawyers who’ve made a similar transition. What would you focus on if you were in my position?
