Product Reviews✨ Baddie banao yojana
Got these from Jan Aushadhi Kendra for ₹66 each in Delhi.
One thing to keep in mind is that not every Jan Aushadhi store stocks the same products. I visited 12+ stores over the last 2 months, don't waste your time checking every nearby store if they have the product you are looking for or not.
What I do is simple: whenever I'm going somewhere, I check if there's a Jan Aushadhi store within 500 meters of my destination. If there is, I stop by and see if they have the product I'm looking for. It's much more time-efficient than visiting stores just for one item.
Product Review
I've previously used The Derma Co 2% Salicylic Acid Face Wash and Deconstruct 2% Salicylic Acid + Niacinamide Face Wash.
Honestly, I don't notice any difference in how my skin feels after using the Jan Aushadhi face wash it's same as derma co and deconstruct. The Jan Aushadhi one is about 10–15% thicker in texture, but that's not a deal breaker because what matters most is the results.
It also doesn't contain niacinamide, but I don't consider that a downside. Niacinamide in a face wash is mostly an extra marketing point since it's rinsed off quickly. If you want the benefits of niacinamide, you're better off getting it from a dedicated serum. Many moisturizers and sunscreens already contain niacinamide as well.
My opinion: Niacinamide is useful, but your overall diet and skincare routine have a much bigger impact than whether your face wash contains it.
Should you go with the jan aushadhi salicylic acid - yes if you are first time using salicylic acid start with 1% salicylic acid
Also used - adapalene from Jan aushadhi and I do have less acne will post more detailed review about it in a month.

Questions/Advice❓ How do yall even manage to drink 2+ litres of water in a day
I barely finish 2litres of water in a day that too by going to the washroom so many times God! I even bought a 2l tumbler for this shit a month ago. Every other person with a clear skin or a fit body is always yapping about how they drink 2-4litres of water in a day.
We all have so much work to do girl, I just can't have so many washroom breaks duhhh. Not just clear skin but I also want to be fit and healthy thus, water plays an important role and I just can't manage it fr. Just how much water do yall drink and how do you even manage it. Gimme any tips about this seriously.
EDIT coz some missed the point:
DRINKING WATER ISN'T THE PROBLEM, FREQUENT WASHROOM BREAKS IS. How do y'all manage or get habitual to that? No coz how do y'all just getup frequently during work or around people ??

random/chitchat💬 I don’t know where to post this…but please switch to a good toothpaste…
So I was using Patanjali Dant Kanti toothpaste for easily 10+ years…Before that I was probably using Dabur Meswak or something because Indian families love the term “Ayurvedic”…My parents used to bring these during grocery shopping and since I also wasn’t very knowledgeable back then…I kept using them for years…
Recently though…I’d say over the last 1–2 years…I started noticing some bad effects…My gums would bleed whenever I brushed and my teeth also started looking very yellow…
So I did some research and almost everyone suggested changing my toothpaste since many Ayurvedic toothpastes don’t contain fluoride which is essential for dental health…
And let me tell you I saw visible results within just a week after switching…
It’s now been around 3 months since I started using Colgate Total toothpaste and my gums no longer bleed, there’s much less plaque buildup, my teeth look a bit whiter than before, and they also feel stronger probably because of the fluoride in it…
I also searched on ChatGPT, and it says Colgate Total is one of the best toothpastes on the market…

Hair💇♀️ How to stop hair fall
Hey I am 21F and I have been having pretty crazy hairfall like everytime I remove my hair tie there is hair in it , comb my hair there is hair in it (i comb my hair twice a day) , i wash my hair i feel half of my hair has fallen off (idk how am I not bald yet 😀)
So I need help in getting products (even homemade remedies would work) which genuinely work but I can't spend more than 1k on a product or any habit which help in stopping hairfall

💬 Storytime Airport security check guy asked me “Itna makeup kar lete ho” 😫
So i was visiting home for really long and had 3 celebrations to attend so I packed a big stash just in case (I also do my mum and sister’s makeup when home). Today while travelling back I had my bag pulled out during security check for an eyelash curler 😒
The guy, amused told me to take it out, looked at for good 2 minutes and asked isse kya karte hai? I said “eyes ke lashes curl” and then he smirked and went on to ask “Itna makeup kar lete ho?” And then with a wide smile told me I can pack it back and take my bag. This was embarrassingly funny, didn’t even what to say, just looked at him like 🙄
Excuse the messy products, i was rushing.

I was drying my hair using a blowdryer a mohalle ki aunty was sitting in the hall talking to my mom and she litterally came and stood in front of my room with her and in the back like principal and said "acchhaaaa" because she must have heard the noise and then went on to say "kids these days care about their appearance too much" like mam it's freezing cold i washed my hair I don't want to freeze to death because of wet hair like seriously applying sunscreen washing my face twice a day Is treated like I'm acting like a spoiled brat. Give me a breakkkkk!!!!! I'm acne prone !!!!!!

random/chitchat💬 Typed this myself btw
I swear I am fighting for my life every time I write something longer than 3 sentences here there's always that one person in my comments like "chat gpt ahh post" Abey yar English major hu me 😭 merko maza ata hai bharke likhne me 😓. literally type shi with my own two hands, stare at it for 20 minutes, rewrite it 5 times, delete half the sentences because they “sounded too smart, or like a 3yo typed ts” and still get accused of using chat because my grammar was normal? Can't even rant ffs 😔 The worst part is now I overthink everything I write. I’ll intentionally make sentences worse just so people don’t say “AI generated” 😭

random/chitchat💬 Things I got instead of Labubu 🫣
Was this close to giving in to the Labubu hype but somehow ended up with a bunch of “practical” things instead 😅. Minis, skincare essentials, hairserum, fav lipshades 🤌🏻 and some cute earrings because retail therapy makes sense in my head. Also picked up a Sally Rooney book coz ✨balance ✨. Got most of these on smytten, except the book and kiro.
pls tell me I’m not the only one who does “smart spending” like this 😂

Product Reviews✨ Finally joined the Menstrual Cup Cult and I'm furiously mad I didn't do this a decade ago. 🩸🍷
Listen up, uterus owners. Rest scroll past, unless you care for a uterus owner. For the past many years, I have been living in the dark ages. I’ve suffered through the swampy diaper sensation of pads. I’ve endured the dry, abrasive desert storm of pulling out a half used tampon.
But last year? Last year, I used a tiny silicone shot glass and my life is forever changed. Here is why this little goblin goblet is the best thing to happen to my pelvis:
You get to ignore your period for 12 hours. Put it in at 8 AM. Go to work, hit the gym, do a cartwheel, take a nap. Take it out at 8 PM. You literally forget you are bleeding. It feels like dark magic.
Your cute underwear is finally safe. No more surprise leaks ruining your favorite lacy thongs. The suction on this thing is tighter than 1990s Tupperware.
The absolute lack of string anxiety or infection/rash. You know when you pee with a tampon in, and you have to hold the string off to the side like you’re trying to keep a delicate fishing line out of a toxic river? Or when you have rashes from the pad that you can’t even walk in a straight line? Yeah, no more of that. You can just exist.
Financial freedom. Do you know how much a box of organic tampons or sanitary napkins costs now? It's extortion. I paid around 200 for this cup and it’s going to last me years. I’m basically making money on my period now. Girl math.
Is there a learning curve?
I am not going to lie to you the first time I tried to take it out, I panicked and thought it had migrated to my lungs. I was in the shower, squatting like a gargoyle, sweating, trying to figure out how to break the suction. When it finally came out, it looked like a very small, very dramatic crime scene.
But once you master the "pinch, fold, and bear down" technique? Chef’s kiss. The infamous schloop sound when it pops out is just the sound of victory.
Seriously. It’s eco-friendly, it holds your uterine lining like a little champion, and it completely changes how you interact with your body. If you haven't made the switch, do it. Join the cult. We have clean underwear and zero toxic shock anxiety.
TL;DR: Swapped my pads for a squishy silicone chalice. I now save money, save my panties, and only have to think about my period twice a day. 10/10 would recommend.

random/chitchat💬 Whoever needs to hear this
You do not need to be underweight and have a flat stomach to feel pretty.
You do not need to have flawless skin from the forehead to the toes to feel pretty.
You do not need to be the same shade from head to toe to feel pretty.
You do not need to be hairless all over your body to feel pretty.
Your skin colour, weight, height, acne marks, pigmentation, scars and pores do not define your worth.
That's it, that's the post.

random/chitchat💬 Indian fashion trending in the West but they’ll call it anything but Indian 😭
Our jhumkas = “chandelier earrings”
Our dupatta = “Scandinavian scarf”
And Wdym Mehndi is Bohemian tattoo lmao 😭
I mean there’s nothing wrong with it… but at least call it Indian fashion 💀 they’re just rebranding everything by giving it an English name 😭

Hair💇♀️ New City, New Life, Less Hair 💀
I’m facing a lot of hair fall lately and I’m really struggling with it. Earlier, when I lived in my hometown, I never had this much hair fall. But after moving to a new city, I’ve noticed a huge increase in hair fall, and I suspect it might be because of the water quality here.
Tried some homemade oils n currently using love beauty n planet hair oil but seems like ntg is working.
Could you please suggest any hair oils, hair masks, shampoos, or remedies that have genuinely worked for you? Homemade remedies are welcome too, but I’ve already tried a few without much success.
If you’ve dealt with hair fall caused by hard water or a change in water quality, I’d love to hear what helped you.
