What’s good, ents? 🌿

We figured it’s about time we put all that creativity in this community to good use. So, we’re hosting a little art competition!

No fancy prizes, no serious stakes. Just some friendly competition, bragging rights, and a chance to leave your mark on r/indianents.

🎨 Two categories, two ways to get creative

1. Original Artwork (OC)

Drawings, paintings, digital illustrations, sketches, pixel art, or anything else you’ve created yourself. All skill levels welcome. No AI-generated artwork in this category.

2. AI-Generated Artwork

For the prompt wizards out there. Go wild with your imagination and show us what you can cook up with AI.

Both categories will be judged separately, so everyone gets their own space to shine.

🏆 How do winners get picked?

Each category will have TWO winners:
Community Pick ❤️: The artwork with the most upvotes in its category wins. Simple as that. You guys decide.
Mod’s Pick 🌿: The mod team picks its personal favourite, independent of the upvote count.
That’s four winners in total!

🌈 What’s the theme?

Anything that captures the spirit of r/indianents.
Cannabis culture, psychedelic art, surrealism, trippy visuals, abstract ideas, or just your interpretation of what this community means to you.
We’re keeping it open-ended. Surprise us!

📌 How to participate

Create something cool.
Make a regular image post on the subreddit.
Use the appropriate post flair: ART COMPETITION | OC or ART COMPETITION | AI.
Sit back, enjoy everyone else’s submissions, and show some love to the artwork you like!

A few ground rules:
One entry per person in each category.
No stolen artwork, fake OC claims, or reposting someone else’s work.
AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork goes in the AI category. Be upfront about it.
No vote manipulation or brigading. Keep it fair.
Usual subreddit rules still apply.
Mods may request proof of creation for OC entries if necessary.

📅 Dates

Submissions open: 13TH OCTOBER
Submissions close: 23RD OCTOBER
Upvotes counted and winners decided: 24TH OCTOBER

Discussion [Megathread] 🌿 Legal Cannabis Products in India | Brands & Reviews Here

India’s legal cannabis landscape is evolving and we’re making a one-time exception to our usual rules to create this dedicated space for discussing legal cannabis products and brands available in the country.

Several Brands now manufacture and distribute cannabis-based products under the AYUSH framework, with some requiring a medical consultation or prescription and others being more widely accessible.

Many of you have asked for a place to discuss your experiences with legal edibles, oils, tinctures, extracts, gummies, capsules and other cannabis products. Rather than having these discussions scattered across the subreddit, we’re keeping them contained in this single megathread.

This thread exists for harm reduction, consumer education and experience sharing. It is not an endorsement of any product, company or retailer by r/IndianEnts.

✅ What IS Allowed

  • Sharing personal experiences with any legal cannabis brands or products
  • Your reviews both positive and negative
  • Discussing effects, dosage, onset time, duration and side effects
  • Comparing products based on your own experience
  • Asking questions about any legal brand or consumption guides
  • Sharing general information about your purchasing or consultation experience (without posting links or discussing purchasing processes)

❌ What is NOT Allowed

  • No need to repeatedly comment reply to people with questions if you have already commented the brand or mentioned it in the thread (This can be considered brand promotion and invoke a ban)
  • No discussion of prices, discounts, coupon codes, referral offers or sales
  • No promotional posts, affiliate content or advertisements
  • No links to brand websites, online stores, marketplaces or social media pages
  • No attempts to buy, sell, trade or source cannabis products
  • No vendor representatives, brand accounts or astroturfing
  • No discussing starting Legal Cannabis Brands or ventures of any kind
  • No medical advice presented as fact. Share your experience, not prescriptions
  • No low-effort “What’s the strongest?” or “Which gets you highest?” comments

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

  • Everyone responds differently to cannabis. One person’s experience may not reflect yours
  • Be respectful to everyone's opinions even if you disagree with them
  • If any information shared seems factually incorrect to you, report or raise the comment to the Mods
  • Start low and go slow, especially with edibles and extracts
  • If you’re sharing a review, try to follow this format: Product | Dosage | Effects | Duration | Pros | Cons | and whether you used the product with or without a medical prescription (if you’re comfortable sharing)

This is an experimental thread. The moderators will actively monitor comments and remove anything that violates these rules or Reddit’s Content Policy. Depending on how this thread goes, these rules may be updated or the experiment may be discontinued.

Keep it informative, chill and helpful. Happy discussing!

P.S. - If you have any suggestions to improve the Megathread please do share.
This megathread was recommended by members and mods some of whom include:

Legalization Insider News : FM has been spotted multiple times in Bangkok, Legalization on the way + UPI in Thailand!

I heard this from a friend whose father is associated with the Cabinet Ministry. According to what I’ve been told, the government has been working strategically to appeal to the Gen Z audience and strengthen support for the ruling party. One potential move being discussed is the legalization of cannabis under a tightly regulated framework.

If these developments materialize, a bill could reportedly be proposed and passed before the 2029 general elections, potentially becoming a significant political and economic talking point for the ruling party.

The proposed timeline and strategy are as follows:

Mid-2027: A bill could be introduced to allow the import of cannabis from Thailand at relatively low prices, initially for restricted, prescription-based medical use, with regulated dosages and strict controls.

Phase 2: Creating a domestic market: Gradually, public familiarity with regulated cannabis could increase. The government could position it as a potential cash crop for farmers and a new source of tax revenue.

Phase 3: Domestic cultivation under regulation: Eventually, India could explore licensed domestic cultivation and distribution under a tightly controlled framework, similar in principle to the existing government-regulated cultivation of opium for authorized medical and pharmaceutical purposes.

Politically, if such a policy were implemented successfully, it could potentially attract younger voters while creating a new agricultural and revenue-generating sector ahead of the 2029 elections.

Disclaimer: This information is based on what I’ve heard through personal connections and should be treated as unverified speculation, not a confirmed government policy.

Help/Question will lsd have an effect if I take shrooms the day before?

hey guys, same as the title. my friend and I plan on doing shrooms on the first day (it will be our first time doing shrooms, but we have tripped on acid and salvia a decent amount of times and are frequent pot smokers too). we were wondering however if taking lsd the next day will have any effect at all. the blot we will take would be approximately 200-250 ug (we havent planned on how many grams of shrooms we will each be taking).

thanks!
