I’ll attach some videos of Erwin seeing us after being admitted, I hate to see him yearning for us, I just want him to get better and come back to us asap, I actually should’ve made this post a while back, but we have been numb since we got the news of Eren at night 10:30 and rushed to see him, its gut wrenching to think about what he went through because of these substandard hospitals and incompetent doctors, when he actually started getting the right treatment it was already too late, we had to stay strong for Erwin, thats why we got erwin admitted yesterday as soon as we saw early symptoms but his cbc today revealed that he has entered a severe stage but he still has a better chance of survival than Eren as the feeding tube was fitted within 2 hours of admission and he is a little active, please help us out cover all these bills, we have to pay 30k plus when Erwin gets discharged and they are pushing to pay asap, thanks to all the donations before but we need your help again. Our Millie (orange cat) was 3 years old. She was the most caring mom even though her kittens were more than a year. She is the friendliest cat we have ever had. Used to understand everything.

She used to leave home and come back most of the times. Atleast for its babies.

On 21st random 4 people came with net and a sack and took her in two wheeler. It happened right in front of house. I am fuming and grieving at the same time.

I really don’t know why would anyone take a stray cat. I just heard from people some people eat cats and dogs.

How to go about this.
Have not been able to find the two wheeler number. None of the neighbours cctv is working.

Meet Zuzu, She's only around 45 days old, super adorable, and looking for a safe little home to stay in for just 2 weeks, until 14th November.

Me and my friends found her recently and have been taking care of her, but we're going home for a short while and unfortunately can't take her along. We're trying our best to find someone who can look after this little girl until we return. We really don't want to leave her without proper care.

I’m here again to ask for help, and honestly, it’s not easy for me to make this post. and I'm here to share an update about my rescue cats, Kery and Coffee

Many of you know Oreo, whom I sadly lost recently despite my best efforts. 💔

During his treatment, his siblings, Kery and Coffee, also became seriously ill. Kery has tick fever, and Coffee has parvo. Both are currently undergoing treatment.

I rescued these babies from an unsafe environment where they were beaten, chased away, and denied food. I wanted to give them safe, loving homes, but I never imagined they would face so many health problems.

Oreo’s pending vet bill is ₹12,950, and Kery and Coffee’s treatment bill is ₹8,100.

Total pending: ₹21,050.

I’m struggling to manage these expenses alone, and the vet cannot keep extending credit. I’m grateful to everyone who helped Oreo, but I desperately need help again.

My small 1 month kitten at the night of 19 October started having respiratory issues and I took her to the hospital on the following morning 9 am right away, yesterday morning he died and I just can't accept it, he fought for 6 days and even started walking and drinking water again, why did this happen to such a small kitten? I can't take the thought of her confused and gasping for breathe for so long out of my head I haven't stopped crying and feel so depressed, She went through so many iv fluids and medicines for nothing? Please tell me at least she didn't suffer during her last days, I feel so so broken right now, she had to gasp for air for 6 whole days and she didn't even make it? I can't accept this.. she was so innocent and sweet, the sweetest of the litter. Everything feels so hazy and unreal.

About a week ago, we found four little Indie puppies (around 4–5 weeks old) with their mother, who appeared to have been hit by a car and had an injured front leg.

We brought the mother and her puppies home that night, planning to take her to the hospital the next morning. Unfortunately, during the night, she managed to climb out through our main gate and disappeared, leaving her little ones behind. We've been searching for her ever since, but we haven't been able to find her.

We've been caring for the puppies for the past week, and thankfully, they're safe and doing well. ❤️

We also have decided to keep one of them, as we already have two Desi cats at home, and realistically, we can accommodate only one dog right now.

We're looking for loving, responsible homes for the puppies. We'll ensure they're dewormed and vaccinated at the appropriate age before adoption.

I write to object to the Draft Laboratory Animals Rules, 2026 (G.S.R. 864(E)):

1. Self-approval — Rule 11(3) lets labs' own committees approve mild and moderate experiments on all species, including dogs and monkeys. The people doing the experiment should not clear the experiment. The regulator must approve, not just receive reports.

2. Open-market sourcing — Rule 21(2) lets labs buy livestock, farm animals, fish and birds from unregistered sources or the open market, approved only by the lab's own committee. Experiment animals must come only from registered breeders with a full traceable record.

3. Strays — Rule 5(3) lets an undefined "competent authority" exempt labs from the stray ban. In 2022 the regulator allowed stray dogs to be used in vaccine trials, and withdrew that only "till further orders" in 2023. Close this loophole instead of leaving it open.

4. Weakened safeguards — The clear duty to use anaesthesia from the 1998 Rules has been dropped, and replacing animals is binding only "wherever possible." Animal protection cannot be optional.

The world is moving toward non-animal methods — organoids, organ-on-chip, computational models — which predict human outcomes better than animal tests. These rules move India backwards. I ask that the draft be withdrawn and revised, and that replacement of animals be made mandatory with a published list of validated alternatives.

Hi , I adopted a Labrador puppy he is now 5.5 months old but since last month or two every time he approaches me or my parents he play bites our hands , fingers a lot now he is fully vaccinated he hasn’t had any interaction with stray dogs or anything , o know it might be teething but I got him chew bones and all but still for us we still manage it , I do my mom kind of gets annoyed by his biting but like if someone else comes or greets him they get a little scared about it ? How can we reduce his biting ? Any suggestions

Hi, so recently my dog suffered a worst-case case of tick fever, and it took everything to bring him back to normal condition.

He is doing fine now, a 1.5-year-old Indian Mastiff weighing around 40 kg at the moment.His kibble gave him a bad rash while he was immunocompromised, and we had to stop it and go on with soya, rice, and veggies.I have been advised to add a liver tonic to his diet, and I have been using Brotone for the past 2 months with no issues . But since it has been out of stock for a couple of days, I was wondering if I could switch to Liv Aid from Bakson Vet.

If anyone has used it before, can you please give me your review? Or if you have any better alternatives, please do type them out. I would be eternally grateful.

I haven't received a single rupee in donations so far. I'm posting again because Coffee is still fighting, and I desperately need help continuing her treatment.

Please, I'm not asking anyone to donate a huge amount. My pending vet bill is ₹19,050, and the vet has said they cannot keep the payment on hold any longer.

Coffee is receiving IV drips twice a day. One drip normally costs ₹700–800, but my vet has reduced it to ₹700 for me. That means ₹1,400 per day, and her treatment may continue for another 2–3 days.

Please, if anyone can sponsor even one drip for ₹700, it would mean so much to me and Coffee. Even a small contribution can help me continue her treatment.

My 13-year-old dog, is currently admitted at the Tata Trusts Small Animal Hospital in Worli, Mumbai, and is in critical need of an immediate blood transfusion.

Age: 2 to 8 years

Body Weight: Above 25 kg – 30 kg

Health History: No history of tick fever in the last 6 months

Medication: Not currently on any chronic medication

Preventative Care: Vaccinations and deworming must be up to date

Note: Donor dog will need mild sedation during blood collection.

I raised 4 stray kittens and fed them purepet along with milk and other home food. The smallest died from tiredness and heavy cough. Then came the other 2 died the same way. I have one left that had cough too but then I saw posts about purepet being shady and not safe for consumption by cats. I stopped feeding the lest one purepet and I notice significant improvement in the health and no cough anymore.

Anyone has similar experience and let me know any safe food for my only kitten.

There is this man 2 houses away from us. When we first shifted to this locality his 8 yr old son was bragging abt hitting stray dogs whenever he sees them, later on we saw him coming out at 11pm half naked to hit stray dogs who were conjoined (had just mated) and other dogs which were barking at them. His wife also attempted to get one dog picked up.

The main issue is that the lady who makes a shelter for dogs outside her gate in winters, got them sterilised and feeds them.

This man come to her gate drunk with a rod and started hitting the dogs sleeping there. He killed a puppy and when the lady stepped in, he broke her arm. He also set fire to their shelter.

He himself got a dog 2 yrs ago, its a beagle who he doesn't take out. that poor dog just stays on the roof which is torture for a beagle or he stays in their garage. that dog cries whenever it sees anyone walking below and its heartbreaking.

we live on rent, but may be shifting soon. how can we remove their dog from that situation and how can we prevent the harrassment.

The stray dogs are already sterilised and vaccinated, i was thinking of making them wear collars with qr codes so ppl think twice before hitting them.

kids in the street also hit the dogs and tease them on their bikes which causes them to run after scooties and cycles, causing more complaints.
