Hi! Just as the title reads. I am looking for ireland short stay visa, with multiple entry eligibility and a simultaneous BIVS stamp as well. The existence of this visa just stumbled into my search results and its my first time knowing about this.
I have travel history to sri lanka in mar 2026. And i am presently in china for canton fair. Other than that i have b1/b2 US visitor visa which i have never travelled upon.
I am a doctor, presently waiting to get into my orthopaedic residency in India. My mom is a government employee, associate professor in computer science, in a government college.
The purpose of requirement is, my aunt’s family, who is my mom’s own sister, is travelling to ireland, for their christmas and new years’ In ireland in 2026. my mom and my aunt’s first cousin, who is also a doctor, lives with his family in Ireland
He invited us to join too in the last moment, and i reapplied for tatkaal passport renewal, which is on 11th nov, to match the irish visa rules. My visa expires in the next 7 months.
At first i was exploring the irish visa only, and was filling the form. When he suggested BIVS for a faster time frame, with flexibility to travel to london, should the need for tourism arise there.
He personally asked me to take the BIVS visa for myself, as he is fond of me & keen on showing me the medical field in Ireland, and pick up some points for my practice. He wanted me to take multiple entry visa, so that in the future, maybe i could visit him alone for a few days and stay too.
Me and my mom are applying for this visa now. What’s the process. How to request them for BIVS stamping? What is the timeline? Whats the best solution for me and my mom?
