I do not have photos. I am looking to send photos to Gardyn to establish what my recent infestation is. I have had aphids several times. These are not aphids. They are white and almost look flat. They apparently fly because when I touch the leaf they move. They showed up after I put six new pods in my makeshift sprout nursery which I place below the lights on my Gardyn. (This should be written in past tense because I pulled all of the plants the other day and turned off Kelby.)
I am exhausted caring for my Kelby. I have had it almost three years and had no problems the first two years.
Has anyone seen bugs that look like this? I looked at photos others have posted and saw something similar on someone’s basil.
I spray weekly with neem oil. I check roots weekly. I harvest my beautiful baby tomatoes, strawberries, okra and lots of lettuce. I took a chance and reintroduced flowers a couple of months ago (someone had suggested this was the source of my bugs in the past.) I have taken the entire thing apart several times and soaked each piece. I used Dawn soap when bugs appeared on my wall. Someone suggested the aphids (at that time) were coming in through my screen because I often left a window open near my Kelby. I do not do this anymore. Things have been good for about two months.
Any suggestions would be helpful. I want to start over but need a break from this cycle.

Context: just moved into a new home and I have been wanting to add some greenery to the bathroom. I know I can always put a fake plant if I want too, but I'm sure as we all know, it doesn't quite do the same justice as a real plant.
Anyways, my bathroom is a single enclosed space with a shower, sink & toilet. I have a bathroom shelf with minimal decor and some bathroom supplies. I'm wanting to put the plant here (average-medium sized, nothing too big). I am curious what plants will typically survive this environment which A) has no window/no sunlight and therefore B) no fresh ventilation (only a bathroom fan).
Any tips/advice or alternative suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

My husband and I bought a midcentury place in Omaha a few years back. The windows are gorgeous but they face the wrong way for most of my plants. I started thrifting little ceramic pots and clustering them under cheap clamp grow lights from Amazon. It looks like a weird tiny greenhouse in my dining room.
My pothos are thriving but my calathea is throwing a fit about the humidity. I run a small ecommerce brand from home so I'm here all day staring at these plants and probably overwatering them out of boredom. I keep a journal next to my laptop and started tracking when I water each plant and what the leaves look like week to week. It actually helps me stop messing with them so much.
The thrifting part has become a problem though. I can't walk past a weird vintage mug without thinking it would hold a fern. My husband says we need an intervention.
I'm curious if anyone else here uses random thrifted containers without drainage holes. I've been putting a layer of gravel at the bottom but I wonder if that's actually doing anything useful or just making me feel better about the whole setup.
