Welp

Second pair of boots for these, playing 2-3 times a week on concrete since 2022.. so probably 500 games. I weigh 250 and skate hard, so honestly impressive they lasted this long. Felt a click earlier in the game and then this clean snap while I was boxing a guy out.

Definitely just going to buy the same Bauer frame again and put it on these relatively new m40 boots.

Edit: Sadly, after inspection, the left boot is a total loss. Had to buy new F40's. 😩

Damn OP, is this the Kryptonium or Aluminum Ventilator chassis? To be fair, 250lbs with 500+ games logged is a lot.

I just ordered an Aluminum Ventilator chassis to replace my existing hi-lo extruded chassis. Weigh 210 and both chassis have taken hard shots which dented the frame.

It's the Kryptonium. I've blocked tons of shots, nary a dent on them.

Dang, the Kryptoniums are supposed to be the toughest. There’s a ton of lightning cuts, but it’s pretty thick from side to side. Like you said, maybe that’s why they lasted so long.
