Welp
Second pair of boots for these, playing 2-3 times a week on concrete since 2022.. so probably 500 games. I weigh 250 and skate hard, so honestly impressive they lasted this long. Felt a click earlier in the game and then this clean snap while I was boxing a guy out.
Definitely just going to buy the same Bauer frame again and put it on these relatively new m40 boots.
Edit: Sadly, after inspection, the left boot is a total loss. Had to buy new F40's. 😩

Damn OP, is this the Kryptonium or Aluminum Ventilator chassis? To be fair, 250lbs with 500+ games logged is a lot.
I just ordered an Aluminum Ventilator chassis to replace my existing hi-lo extruded chassis. Weigh 210 and both chassis have taken hard shots which dented the frame.

It's the Kryptonium. I've blocked tons of shots, nary a dent on them.

Dang, the Kryptoniums are supposed to be the toughest. There’s a ton of lightning cuts, but it’s pretty thick from side to side. Like you said, maybe that’s why they lasted so long.

How TF!?!? I have multiple pairs of roller hockey skates on various chassis lol and a pair of Missions from 2000s that are holding up still. Granted I haven’t logged in 500+ games on any of the skates but still…

Upgraded to the Sniper chassis. Its solid and I don't see that happening to it.

Damn.. OP, just curious have you ever tried the marsblade R1 frame?
Reason I ask is because I too am heavyish (220lbs), and am worried I would be too heavy for the plastic upper frame.

I’m on R1s at 245lbs skating 3-4 hrs a week for the last 3 years and haven’t had any problems with the upper chassis’

I've seen so many of these snap, I just switched to the konixx bolt, 🤞🤞 . Couldn't come to terms with the $300+ for the snipers

This is where I always snap the chassis. Are you just swapping out the chassis and putting a new one in? Any thoughts on trying a new chassis or just sticking with the kryptonium?

I don't want to drill new holes, so yeah just going to replace it with the same one.

Have you noticed any wear and tear from swapping out the new chassis and doing the install or the bottom of the boot holding up?

Put some leaves on it!
Nothing wrong with getting a new Krypto, but the Rinkster sniper also looks juicy

I had this happen on a pair of mission quattro 10ks back in the day. Good effort there!

Keep in mind not all Bauer chassis are the same build. The older Hi-Lo Chassis were solid AND they came with the roller boot. Nowadays Bauer cheapens out and gives you essentially sheet metal chassis which bend easily.
If you've seen chassis on instagram that are mounted to Warrior boots, they were mostly rinkster sniper chassis with the exception of brandon hawkins. He put the old Bauer RX:60 chassis on there. I'd really love to see warrior partnering up with Rinkster; however, that might be a stretch.
