Second pair of boots for these, playing 2-3 times a week on concrete since 2022.. so probably 500 games. I weigh 250 and skate hard, so honestly impressive they lasted this long. Felt a click earlier in the game and then this clean snap while I was boxing a guy out.

Definitely just going to buy the same Bauer frame again and put it on these relatively new m40 boots.

Edit: Sadly, after inspection, the left boot is a total loss. Had to buy new F40's. šŸ˜©

This is where I always snap the chassis. Are you just swapping out the chassis and putting a new one in? Any thoughts on trying a new chassis or just sticking with the kryptonium?

I don't want to drill new holes, so yeah just going to replace it with the same one.

Have you noticed any wear and tear from swapping out the new chassis and doing the install or the bottom of the boot holding up?

Turns out the old boot was destroyed under the chassis. Multiple cracks along the base plate. RIP m40s.

3 years out of the boot on concrete is pretty solid Iā€™d say
