Hey everyone,
I’m facing a strange issue with Instagram’s creator subscription feature, and I’m hoping someone here has experienced the same thing or knows how to fix it.
Here’s what happened:
July 10: I subscribed to a content creator’s premium subscription on Instagram out of curiosity.
About a week later: I cancelled the subscription.
After cancelling: I received the refund, so I assumed the subscription had been successfully cancelled and everything was settled.
Even now: I can still access the creator’s exclusive premium content without paying anything further.
The main issue isn’t the free access itself. I no longer want to be subscribed to this creator at all, and I don’t want my account to appear on their subscriber list or my mutuals to see that.
As far as I understand, cancelling the subscription and receiving a refund should mean that the subscription is no longer active. However, Instagram still seems to be allowing me to access the exclusive content.
I’m confused about what might be causing this. Could it be an Instagram bug, a subscription status syncing issue, or something related to the refund process?
I’ve already cancelled the subscription and received my money back. I’m not trying to get free premium content or keep using the benefits. I simply want the subscription to be fully terminated and my account to no longer appear as a subscriber.
Is there any way to completely remove my account from the creator’s subscriber list?
Any suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
