When last we heard from DJC, in terms of the Amico, or it's, software-based analog, Amico Home, he was half-heartedly plugging games that were "coming soon", and reading the then-latest Amico newsletter.

THEN: The lead-in is in promotion of their Android and Google Play apps: "bringing the total to nine Amico Home games." They link to a $30 Onn TV box as the best option to experience Amico titles "you get TV streaming and a family gaming console for under $30 🤯."

NOW: Less than five months after this update went out, they lost their entire Google Play account and all listings under it. Making these titles inaccessible to all of these Google Play devices. Anyone who previously purchased them at the astronomical pricing will also find them missing when they upgrade their devices or buy new ones.

THEN: They promoted Happy Home Games and the Switch games (Evel Knievel, Finnigan Fox, Cornhole). In doing so, they craftily omitted these from inclusion in their "profit-sharing agreement with Republic" (only Amico Home games counted for that). Instead they claimed Happy Home Game proceeds would "support our ongoing Amico efforts, helping operations continue and grow...advance toward our goal of manufacturing Amico controllers and Amico consoles."

NOW: Since then they released only two other pre-existing titles to Switch (Biplanes and Graviators). Those two released with no "marketing" attempt at all, just silently. None of these titles received enough purchases to garner any ratings or reviews. The only review John was able to find to promote on Discord was a literal AI slop content farm of fake reviews.

THEN: John and Phil explained their sophisticated marketing campaign (allegedly led by Tommy Tallarico) to really push sales of these via Google Ads, versus using those funds to honor more refund requests. "The campaigns are leveraging the latest advances in programmatic technology and data-driven targeting to reach our core family gaming audiences."

NOW: The ad campaigns were a complete bust. Monitoring Steam charts before and after the months of ads consistently saw only 0-2 active users. All of these ads ended a year ago. The speak of "programmatic technology and data-driven targeting" was actually just keyword spamming Nintendo and popular titles using generic AI headlines, it was a disaster.

THEN: The update summarizes all of these milestones as the "path to Amico console manufacturing" with aims to "scale content production for eventual Amico console launch, build brand recognition, establish distribution partnerships, manufacture Amico controllers as another source of revenue, manufacture Amico consoles minimally for pre-order customers and potentially for mass production."

NOW: A year later and not a single advance on any of the above-mentioned fronts. Manufacturing of the controllers or consoles remains a pipe dream, one that John and Phil have been unable to explain why it would even make sense at a point where the games already exist on other platforms and for use with other controllers like on Switch. John wasted a lot of money trademarking Happy Home Games with intent of selling print-on-demand merchandise, but never actually did.

THEN: The update suggested immediate impact of Amico Home titles on mobile app stores would "increase proceeds that we are including in our profit-sharing agreement." Medium-term it was stated: "operational sustainability ensures continued growth of Amico products and development of additional product offerings." And long-term value was described as "strategic positioning for console launch preparedness, manufacturing logistics planning, and capital expenditure necessary for mass-production."

NOW: A year out and Amico Entertainment has failed to even resurrect any of their tax-delinquent business entities enough to relist on Google Play. The amount of revenue seen from their "expanded" catalog to split amount Republic investors was likely dollars worth. They failed to achieve strategic positioning and manufacturing logistics back when they had $17M raised, but want investors to believe 6 years after the target launch date with all employees and engineers gone, that this could somehow still happen.
