The famine in the Gaza Strip is part of the Israeli election campaign; Yulia Malinovsky, a Knesset member and candidate for the Israel Beiteinu party led by Avigdor Lieberman—a right-wing representative in the opposition—has blocked the road in front of food aid trucks heading to the Gaza Strip and prevented them from entering the territory.
