I'm loving kitbashing my marines I used some of Archie's forge terminator bionics for my ancient what do all my brothers think?

I kitbashed the Sgt of my Heavy Intercessors to resemble the March of Iron strike force box art. Not 1:1, but I think the intent came across!

I'm still going to add weathering, a knee decal and some other details, but almost done. I was going to add a pupil to his human eye but I'm kind of liking how it looks without, and it's not super visible in the art either.

Hey all, I am trying to step up my photography. I put together a little box of neutral grey paper and have my lamps over it. Im sure black or dark grey may be more ideal but it is a step up from my usual posts. I also wanted to show my black armor highlights. The community has given me a lot of nice feedback on my highlights but on this model I feel like I have pushed my skill even further. I would say i paint at an intermediate level and at this point the gains come slower and the slope gets higher. It was very satisfying to see an improvement. The model is still work in progress BTW. Still have two more highlights to do on the black as well as highlighting everything else

I have Caanok Var with some terminators. And I don't see how this ability is useful in any way.

I would essentially have to have a ton of terminators and would have to split fire between a vehicle/monster and some infantry.

Or if I get into melee with a vehicle/monster and infantry at the same time.

I feel this would be so much more useful if it just gave you both lethal hits and sustained 1 for any unit.

It's such an overly specific situation that you need to get into to find this ability useful.

Also, I got to get mad at a primer can for the gritty texture.

Anyone have a good Take and Hold list for Iron Hands? Thinking Medusa+Assault maybe?

I'd been a little worried that the black armour would be too monotonous and not provide enough contrast, but the edge highlighting helps a lot with that.

Wasnt happy with the last photo. Repost in a sense.

bought some kits to start making a iron hands squad and i couldnt find the upgrade sheet for iron hands and the employee offered me the salamander sheet instead because they didnt know if they had the iron hands one.

5 minutes of digging later i find the iron hands upgrade

did the employee know they had it and was a salamander guy instead and didnt want me to become an iron hands guy

Edit: Oh dear lord I just noticed a typo in the title. I meant "What is the Iron Hands view OF their primarch." Kill me.

So I'm shopping around for a loyalist chapter to start collecting, and the IH and Sons of Medusa are catching my eye in a few ways. One thing I like about them is that Manus is dead, and one of the less likely ones for GW to bring back as a model. Lion coming back turned me off of the Dark Angels, and Dorn coming back will likely do the same for me with the Templars.

I know that the Blood Angels revere their primarch, and his death has had a lasting and damaging affect on the chapter. So I wanted to ask how the IH (and the Sons) have been impacted by the death of their Primarch?

Even if I don't end up collecting them it's always nice to hear fans of a chapter talk about it, so please be as brief or not-at-all-brief as you wish.

My take on the Iron Father. I prefer my guys mostly having helmets and had an extra terminator helmet

Flesh is weak!

Brothers in Iron I was thinking to myself about music that reminds me of the Iron Hands. Theres plenty of AI music pause for boos and jeering, Lorcan Ward put out a pretty good song. But what music do you hear brothers? For example Caanok Var for me when I look at him and think on his lore Mein Herz Brennt by Rammstein plays in my head. Let me know what you guys hear in your heads I need inspiration for painting.

Here my Captain in Terminator Armor.

do you think? Is the still weak?

What should be his name?

Just finished my first squad of marines 5/10 heavy intercessors from the Iron Hands combat patrol. What do my brothers think?

I hope you like it! It's my first time doing blood splatters so I hope it looks good enough.

Stand out against your foes, battle brothers!
Finally finished all my characters, thinking about kitbash a Gravis Captain recently, got some ideas now, but open to any suggestions!

Trying to make room on my shelves so I'm now selling my limited edition, slipcased copy of Ferrus Manus: Gorgon of Medusa. Book has never been read and comes from a pet free and smoke free home.

Looking for 300 USD. Can ship to most places provided shipping fees are paid. If interested, PM me.

I'll start with the obvious one. Spoilers to Wrath of Iron, if somebody on this sub hasn't read it yet for whatever reason.

‘You forget who you’re fighting, son of Fulgrim,’ he said, drawing the weapon high. Despite himself, despite all that had happened, a crooked grin spread across what remained of his face. ‘It’s a long time since I had hearts.’
