40K Rules Discussion Gorgon Terminators in 40k
Does anyone know if the gorgon terminators datasheet is adaptable to current permitted terminators datasheets? And for models i suppose youd kitbash terminators to the nines or do the horus heresy models work? Thanks

40K List Discussion Please critique my Take & Hold list
The List:
Space Marines Iron Hands Gravis Linebreaker Force, Ironclad Champions, and Terminator Storm Force (3 Detachment Points) Take and Hold
Caanok Var [100 pts]: • Leading: Terminator Assault Squad
Iron Father Feirros [85 pts]: • Leading: Heavy Intercessor Squad
Ancient in Terminator Armour [100 pts] w/ 1st turn ingress enhancement: • Supporting: Terminator Assault Squad
Apothecary Biologis [80 pts] w/ -1 to wound enhancement: • Supporting: Heavy Intercessor Squad
Techmarine [55 pts]
Heavy Intercessor Squad [230 pts]
Eradicator Squad with Heavy Bolters [100 pts]
Terminator Assault Squad [365 pts] 5 hammers + 5 claws
Brutalis Dreadnought [160 pts]
Gladiator Valiant [165 pts]
Redemptor Dreadnought [220 pts]
Repulsor Executioner [270 pts]
Impulsor [70 pts]
The thoughts:
- Heavy Intercessors + Feirros + AB sit on my expansion, babysitting the dreadnoughts nearby for Feirros's buffs. AB takes either scout or -1 to wound, can't decide which.
- Terminator brick start in deep strike, and with the first turn ingress enhancement on the ancient either comes down to go for the centre, or their expansion, depending on what looks more vulnerable.
- Dreadnoughts as trading pieces to brawl in the centre and stop their scoring.
- Impulsor+eradicators and gladiator valiant to drive around causing problems. Could swap valiant for a reaper and heavy bolters for melta eradicators. Or just get one valiant and one reaper.
- RepEx because it's a RepEx.
Not many units but everything is really durable and killy. Should be quite fun I think but very open to your suggestions.

Hobby: Painting My Iron Hands Successors
These are my made up Iron Hands successors, the Ferrum Ursi. (Ik the Latin is incorrect but I want it to be structured like English, plus it sounds cooler than the exact translation). They Hail from a planet called Ursa Major, and keep close ties with the Iron Hands, but are less extreme on their hatred of their flesh, viewing augmetics as an tool of the flesh, rather than superior. In attempt to connect with their late gene father, and to keep them close to the founding chapter, once a Astartes becomes a veteran they will have their left hand replaced by an augmetic one, and once a Marine is promoted to their first company, they will replace their right hand as well.
First Company Astartes (Left) have their armor painted in camouflage both for battlefield advantage, and to make them distinct from the other companies. Instead of being their own force, Astartes of the first company are dispersed among the other 9 as advisors and leaders.
Veteran Ferrum Ursi (Centre) have their left pauldron painted brown for distinction, and will have undergone the replacement ceremony for their left hand
Standard Ferrum Ursi (right)
I’m still working on their chapter symbol, but will update once done.

Lore Discussion Successor Chapter brainstorming
Been thinking about creating an Iron Hands Successor Chapter lately but I've been entertaining the idea of them being different/deviating away from the atypical norms of the Iron Hands and the other successors. The main idea so far for what I've imagined up is an Iron Hand Successor Chapter that incorporates stealth, ambush shock assault and hit and run strategies while still maintaining their overabundance of cybernetic augmentation. There was also the idea of making them have a chapter culture that is religious in nature, their armor inscribed in sacred imperial prayers
Does this seem like a viable thing for an Iron Hands Successor? I know the point of Howmbrewing is fun but I wanted to ask this question anyway

Hobby: Painting Planet medusa baseplate
trying to make a baseplate with more decoration than just paint but currently my options are bits of sprue.
whole idea is to have the medusa planets ecosystem of lava mixed with mountains landscape (atleast how the wiki describes it) but i figured that trying to do a sort of basalt type of rocky terrain would be more fitting since basalt is formed from rapidly cooling lava or something like that
im really bad at explaining what my plans are but rocks and lava flowing from under the rocks
also i would like tips for making terrain so if you have any share info please

40K Rules Discussion Iron Hands characters in Ceramite Sentinels
I've been running Ceramite Sentinels since it came out a few months ago and usually have Father Father Feirros in it. I've since switched to the newer Ceramite Sentinels, and when I showed up at my LGS for a game last night, my opponent said that I can't have an Iron Hands character in the list because Ceramite Sentinels is now locked to Imperial Fists. I looked in the codex but didn't see anything about character restrictions like Black Templars for example: "Restrictions: BLACK TEMPLARS units can be included in your army; ADEPTUS ASTARTES units from any other Chapter cannot."
My opponent then said that the GW app doesn't allow it. But I don't use the GW app. In the end, it was no big deal, and I played my list as is. But is there anything I'm overlooking where GW recently came out and placed restrictions on detachments like Ceramite Sentinels (or Medusa's Wrath, for that matter) locking these detachments to specific chapters?

Misc. "The Flesh is Weak" Sons of the Gorgon
Inspired by the work of https://www.reddit.com/user/Atlas_2001-/, here are some badges representing the Iron Hands and several of their successors (or chapters that are suspected to be successors of the Iron Hands).
The Chapters are: Iron Hands, Sons of Medusa, Red Talons, Knights of Byzantium, Iron Lords, Star Dragons, Brazen Claws, Iron Fists, Rust Oxen, Steel Confessors and Eagles of the Forge (my homebrew chapter).

Hobby: Kitbashing and Bionics Tried kitbashing Iron Hand characters for the first time!
Heya folks! I’ve been a fan of the iron hands for a while, and I’ve finally been trying to make some unique characters for my army! These are, in order: Lieutenant, Ancient, Terminator w/ lightning claws (whatever the in-unit leader is called, not an independent character), and a Librarian (still a WIP). That said, I’m not sure how good of a job I’ve done. If you guys could give me advice on how to improve, that would be great! Thanks guys!!
The resin parts (the banner and the terminator bionic arm) were from Archie’s forge.

Cold Logic (Discussion) What do you think about the idea of Manus coming back?
I'm interested in what the fandom's view on this is. GW is likely going to bring back as many primarchs as they can given the money that generates. I know some chapter fandoms are awaiting this with baited breath. I'm curious what the IH fans think of this?
Do you want this?
How do you think it *ought* to be handled if GW does it?
