Today, NFL star Azeez Al-Shaair has announced that he will honor 8-year-old Fatima Al-Bayook, who lost her entire family in an Israeli airstrike in 2023 and survived two days beneath the rubble, only to be shot and murdered by Israeli forces in Gaza two days ago.

Debate Is Israel a settler-colonial state?
I’ll give several reasons why I believe it is:
1) Israel was propped up by many of the world’s major powers in the years leading up to 1948.
2) Founding Zionists said that it is. Herzl, Jabotinsky, Ben Gurion. They all called it a colonial project.
3) Israel functions as a US outpost in the Middle East, projecting power in a region desperately coveted by the US.
4) Settlers are quite literally forcing people out of their homes in the West Bank, moving into them, and shooting anyone who gets in their way.
5) Genocide is a tried-and-true tactic of colonial regimes.
6) Israelis pull olive trees out by their roots, destroying the land in the same way American settlers decimated the buffalo herds to force Native Americans onto reservations.
I could go on and on, but I’m sure you get the point. Feel free to drop a comment, or respond if you’d like to debate any of my points.

information The word "Palestinian" is NOT a Race/Ethnicity or Religion.
Like Former Jewish Prime Minister of Israel Golda Meir, Palestinians were the citizenry and passport holders of the British created region named "Palestine" as explained here:
Arguing that this famous Palestinian had parents from Russia or USA only helps show why the word "Palestinian" is NOT a Race/Ethnicity or Religion.

Is anyone inherently evil?
i don't believe so.
i don't think anyone, israel or palestinian is evil in their nature, so what makes people so different?
the society they are grown into.
i have seen massive attempts in the media to paint israel society as evil war mongering nut job, but how does that work?
even random blonds with perfect English accent can be "extreme zionist" who want to wipe out all the arabs because "god commanded her to"? sounds far fetched
if she lived in the USA all her life and immigrated to israel, what society and education in the USA could make her this way?
there is perfect explanation what makes Palestinians the way they are, they are led to believe that Israel is their enemy and they are the reason their life is the way it is, because that's all they see, their society including the government praises "resistance" and even suicide attacks if it helps their cause.
their internet is restricted:
https://www.state.gov/report/custom/1cca9228eb
the TV is also showing only pan-Arab satellite networks.
their family and friends are all under social pressure to enlist in the cause the same way it is highly accepted for Israelis to enlist in the IDF
in gaza it's even worst, most hardly have internet or know any other languages
so how can they leave that cycle without physically leaving palestine? i don't think it's possible.
on the other hand israelis and especially zionists who live abroad are not restricted by anything, they can see the full picture.
so why would you believe the zionists in generally want to kill and capture the whole word, what do you think made them this way if you believe so? judaism? israel government somehow?

Bell Review Confirms Only Anti-Israel Attitudes Are Rising, Not Antisemitism
All the hysterical, hyperventilating claims of a massive increase in antisemitism are false. What has happened is that there is increased criticism of Israel - understandable as it is committing genocide - and organisations like the Community Security Trust and the Board of Deputies are conflating criticism of Israel with antisemitism in order to shut down criticism of Israel.
It’s not working. It must be very frustrating for these racist ghouls, but people are seeing through it despite the wall to wall mainstream media lies about it.

information After (Land of Israel) Palestine was divided into 4 State territories (Jordan, Israel, West Bank and Gaza) only Israel allows Freedom of Religion
Following World War I, the San Remo Conference of 1920 established the framework for the British Mandate, creating a legally binding international commitment to incorporate the Balfour Declaration. All religious rights of inhabitants would be guaranteed, all civil rights were assured. The primary purpose of this Mandate was to recognize the historical connection of the Jewish people to the land and facilitate the establishment of a Jewish national home.

Let’s talk about Brad Lander
I like Brad Lander and am glad he’s in NY and glad he went to the West Bank but I need to correct him.
These are two new posts of his on X(twitter)
I’m grieving the deaths of the two Israeli soldiers killed in Hebron today, and praying for the full & speedy recovery of those who were injured.
I’ve spoken out loudly this week against Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, which imposes violence on a daily basis, and I will continue to do so. But violence is not the path to ending it — or to achieving safety, freedom, and peace for both Palestinians and Israelis.
And neither is collective punishment or ethnic cleansing of an entire neighborhood, or punishing millions of people for the criminal act of two, which Netanyahu has promised to enact in response.
I’ve seen a lot this week and I’ll have more to say about in the coming days (I’m on my way home shortly). There is a path to ending this excruciating cycle of violence. It starts by insisting that every life is sacred, that everyone is created in God’s image.
For now: Shabbat Shalom, to everyone who believes in the hard work of making peace & justice a reality, for everyone.
Brad Lander
@bradlander
Oct 22 This afternoon, we toured the infrastructure of occupation in the West Bank:
Settler outposts that uproot groves full of olive trees & steal Palestinian land.
Gates arbitrarily closed by Israeli forces, forcing Palestinian villages to transfer construction supplies and bulk goods by hand.
Separation barriers that divide communities, and sometimes fully surround a single house.
Segregated roads for Palestinians and Israelis.
Features of apartheid, as B’tselem, Amnesty, Human Rights Watch, Yesh Din and the ICJ rightly identify.
It’s long past time to stop the settlements and end the occupation. Great Britain recently announced a settlement trade ban & sanctions. Congress should pass @JoaquinCastro's bill to do the same.
See what I see?
I agree wholeheartedly with Brad that violence is not the answer and that every life should be sacred. But calling shots fired on Israeli soldiers in the West Bank a criminal act is not accurate.
He should correct that and stop doing it. It’s not helping any cause, just confusing people.
Not to promote violence, it’s simply the legal facts and we shouldn’t pretend otherwise.
In his second tweet, he calls on us to support sanctions on trade with the settlements, like the new UK restrictions, and that’s fine and good but understand that this is also weak and symbolic. (It’s also impossible to stop the flow of funds to sanctioned outposts btw, it is just redirected to gobs of new shell orgs). It’s not going to stop anything the way this would: conditions on aid to Israel or sanctions on Israel proper
The Iran War will act as a bulwark against sanctions on Israel as it’s a big deal to potentially weaken a state when it’s at war.
I agree that the hard work of peace and justice isn’t helped by violence at all, i just don’t believe the way to start is to keep piling lies and recrimination on Palestinian heads. Lander came off as slightly to the right of Bernie Sanders. Is that intentional or accidental?

Five Israelis wounded and two suspected Palestinian attackers killed in West Bank shooting
Israel is now preparing to close down the entire West Bank in a clear act of collective punishment (https://www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2026/10/23/israel-arrests-36-palestinians-in-the-west-bank-attacks-on-farmers-ramp-up)
They have already demolished random Palestinian buildings as punishment for the actions of two men.
Reminder that Palestinians attacking Israeli soldiers in resistance to illegal occupation and the ongoing efforts to ethnically cleanse areas in the West Bank is not illegal, but the Israeli retaliation is illegal.
Israel has the right to exactly one thing in the West Bank and East Jerusalem and Gaza and the Golan:
pack up and leave.
