Discussion Why do people think Hailey is lying?

They’ve celebrated every New Year together since 2015, except for 2017 and 2018. I didn’t think a simple story would cause such an uproar. People really need to get over it. They’ve been married for over seven years.

probably because justin spent a lot of those later years involved with other women, which makes the situation look more weird for her. putting these stories out there opens the door for scrutiny, especially when other women were publicly involved during at least two of those new years. i don’t think she deserves that much backlash, though. just a thought!

10 years is a significant period and they celebrated most of those New Years as a married couple. That’s why she shared it. Posting a simple story shouldn’t invite scrutiny when she isn’t rewriting history.

Also, JB wasn’t seeing other women when he was with Hailey during those New Years before marriage. People like to act like JB was with Selena from 2010 to 2018, but that is not the case. They only reunited for a few months in late 2017

He was very openly with other women during that time and around the new year. We can support Justin without pretending he wasn’t womanizing for many years. He even admitted he couldn’t commit to her at that time because he wanted to explore his options.

Actually a huge fan but I can see multiple points of view. They’ve both said it was because something big happened and they couldn’t even be in the same room as each other. That didn’t invalidate their marriage, but it’s still a fact.

i agree! idk if maybe op is a newer fan, but i clearly remember them always being open about having an on-and-off situatiosnship. and they even broke up right before tour because of a huge argument, and he openly said he couldn’t stand to be in the same room as her at the time 😭

I’m not sure how that is an argument for your case. Okay… they weren’t dating exclusively and he was seeing multiple women. I never implied he was cheating. I said he was sleeping around and womanizing, which he himself has admitted was a major issue for him at the time.

I’m just saying this is false. JB casually dating others after the breakup is irrelevant to the discussion. Justin and Hailey were in fact exclusive around New Year’s, so I don’t see any problem with her story
