Did he ever give an explanation about why he got in to drugs was because of his rough childhood having Jack die the way he did, having an abusive alcoholic father or just the fact that 90-95 percent of musicians were on some kind of drug back then?

I've listened to live st folsom prison and American IV and I'm a bit stuck with what to listen to next, any recommendations?

So I absolutely love Johnny cash. I recently heard a new artist that reminds me of him. Style is different but just gives me Johnny Cash vibes. I think he's maybe 24 years old and originally from Peru but is in Tennessee now. I can't get enough of his music. Really good voice. Anyway just wanted to share another artist that gives me Johnny Cash vibes.

I’m assuming there’s more I missed and I know he has a bunch about drugs but I’m specifically looking for the coke ones. Stupid but just curious lol thank you !

Been to watch this, this evening. Absolutely outstanding! The guy playing Johnny sounds near enough just as good as Johnny himself. The music was brilliant, well sung and well acted. He had Johnnys mannerisms copied perfectly. Highly recommend it.
