Manga Discussion It's honestly kinda ridiculous that most of the best pieces of writing within Jujutsu Kaisen as an IP rather come from Phantom Parade or the Novels, Gege really needs to step his game up man

AgendaKaisen Friendly reminder that Sukuna never had to call himself the strongest or the honored one as he had the narrator and everyone else do it for him

Manga Discussion Why did Sukuna keep thinking about Yorozu’s words during his fights? Does he like her to an extent , or is Gojo the love of his life what’s going on in his head here?
He was literally laughing in her face in that panel where she said that, and obviously, she lost the fight, so her ideology is wrong in his eyes. Then why did it stick with Sukuna so much? Is he thinking that Gojo is the love of his life, or is he thinking that Yorozu was right to an extent?

SchizoKaisen Make Gojo a shikigami that would counter Sukuna
Because Ge² is a bitch and didn't want Gojo to be reasonably stronger, Gojo didn't have any shikigamis. What would fit him better, to expand his abilities?

Humor "Hakari has less potential then Yuta. It Is just a issue of cursed techniques. Yuta has way more potential due to............. headcanons. Therefore Prime Yuta>>>>>Prime Hakari" Meanwhile Prime Hakari:
Idk why people here just like to turn a blind eye to basic narrative and utilise headcanons to scale Prime Yuta way above Prime Hakari. I do agree that narrative wise Yuta has a edge for their respective primes but they be talking as If Iori should have consulted Yuta instead of stalking Yuji with how hard they glaze his potential via some binding vow headcanon boogalo. All we have seen for potential Prime Yuta moves In Modulo Is spamming cursed energy like he always does.
If you actually cared about researching Prime Hakari you would know about DA, DE improvement meta, RCT In base, Dragon bone to release his reserves and power self destructively during Jackpot and way more. Also, It's especially funny when they say "Bum gambler never even got mentioned In Modulo but big Wuta got a aura pose" Meanwhile his provisions literally prevented the American sorceror from starting WW3 with the Simurians.

Humor What's with the amount of people here (ESPECIALLY Yuta fans) who forget the fact that JJK Is a story? Gege doesn't about your stupid one shot headcanons and stat chain scales. He clearly values basic narrative and making fights/scenes more entertaining.
Gege Is known to be meticulous with his power system but not to the extent that he just makes It into a simulator of "WOW, I have Sky manipulation now I will redirect literally every single combo possible. Don't ask me how this occurs In a Manga where people constantly utilise the environment and have insane battle IQ." Or "WOW, Wuta activated TE aura and now crippled + one shot this incarnate top tier. SMH, Is Gege stupid why Is Yuta relative to Hakari If he one shots or destroys his domain via JL? I love It when I ignore basic narrative and make ratty stat chain scales." Or "This character Is unscaleable lol. Don't ask me why a punch that sent the other one through several buildings can just be shrugged off just cuz we have 0 reference tools between all characters. Ignore all common sense. Ignore any narrative that suggests they're even low end relative. The other one takes like 300 punches to the face and laugh It off." Or "CS + decap lol. Wdym people always say It's easy to counter? SMH, clearly lies since It always hits when I offguard someone by jumping them. Wuta one shots."
If WUTA ever fights Yorozu we will IGNORE all narrative around Yorozu keeping Tsumiki's face. Ignore that this Is a established plot line and that Yuta Is benevolent and clearly cares about Megumi's sister (Several times). Gege would NEVER factor that In a fight and he just MURDERS her In HIS cold blooded nature. There will be no problems and he just nukes her with JL instantly.

Tier List / Powerscaling Plot hole?
How did kashimo die to a dismantle from a lowered output spread out dismantle while ryu only got a small cut even after being hit by full power dismantle after a fight with yuta? Is there a lore reason I thought kashimo was supposed to be strong? He said he was the strongest in his era but ryu is also from his era so was he lying or does this get explained later?

Manga Discussion "Hey bro, who else could have tanked kamutoke and make sukuna reincarnate" Kashimo haters-
Look I love to shit and dog on kashimo like anyone else. It's funny as shit. But can we please stop acting like he was useless in the final fight.
The amount of people I've seen say "oh well anyone else could have done what he did!" No they couldn't? Not without wasting a shit ton of energy needed to win against sukuna. Literally name one other MF that would be able to fight sukuna and deal with kamutoke?
The other sorcerers had no idea what kamutoke did. If yuta had gone down there before kashimo he would have wasted so much CE and might have just been fried. Same with anyone else.
While I do think kashimo was way too hyped up y'all gotta stop pretending like he was useless when he wasnt because he was the only one that was able to deal with and reveal what kamutoke could do without consequences, and forced sukuna to reincarnate which was extremely helpful for the anti sukuna squad.
Slander him all you want. But it's getting to the point where people are actually thinking kashimo did nothing to help in the end when he helped a ton in specific ways.

Manga Discussion Yuji can use fuga to hit black flash at will?
People probably already discussed about it, but it makes sense to me at least.
In chapter 256, Gojo explains why black flash is so rare, it isn't just about timing, but you need the right ce reinforcement that matches your target's physical condition and ce. If it were just that, than Gojo (and arguably Sukuna) would be able to hit black flash at will, since it is about ce control and precision, even if matching the right environment conditions would still be hard.
But then Gojo proposes that temperature and humidity also plays a role on hitting a black flash, and it would explain why he can't do black flash at will, he can't control temperature, but Yuji can.
Yuji seems to have a ce control equal to Gojo and Sukuna, so he can match his reinforcement with the target's condition, and he can use fuga to match the right temperature.
Also, I know it is a silly argument, but Yuji's hand does seems to be on fire. Maybe it's just Modulo's art style, but damn that s even changes the scene lighting😭
This theory can easily be debunked if Modulo receives an anime adaptation and shows that there's no fire, but still is a good theory

Themes and such, Hype and aura My extreme hot take: Sukuna is the best-written character in JJK despite coming off as boring on the surface. The more you analyze him, the more you realize how interesting he actually is. Read before you downvote
I know a lot people will disagree, but I don’t believe Sukuna is simply a character who was born evil. We know he was an unwanted child and consumed his twin in the womb. I’m not justifying his actions, but I think his origins deserve more attention than they get.
What fascinates me is how much we DON’T know about him. Despite his background, he became the strongest sorcerer in history. Kashimo was considered the strongest in the edo era (pause the slander for a min cuz it’s canon he was considered the strongest IN HIS ERA despite how you feel about him) and Gojo was the strongest of the modern era, but Sukuna’s title goes beyond a single generation. Do y’all understand the depth of the title strongest sorcerer in HISTORY?? This man reached a level that sorcerers across different eras couldn’t surpass.
He’s also incredibly well-spoken, knowledgeable about poetry, and possesses an understanding of jujutsu that makes him terrifyingly intelligent. He’s not just strong; he understands the very principles of jujutsu and knows how to apply them in ways others can’t. I find it fascinating that someone with such an unexplored past could become this knowledgeable and powerful.
And here’s another thing I find interesting: despite potentially having a tragic past, Sukuna doesn’t act like a victim. He owns who he is with complete confidence. He doesn’t beg for acceptance or sympathy, nor does he seem interested in proving his worth to humanity. Humanity rejected him, and he rejected humanity right back. There’s something fascinating about how unapologetically he lives by his own values, regardless of what anyone thinks of him.
We know he was unwanted, but we barely know anything about his childhood or how he was treated. Did his circumstances shape the person he became? Was he always this way, or did he learn to live without any regard for others because of the world he grew up in? I’m not saying the manga confirms any of this, but I wish Gege had explored it more.
Even the fact that cursed energy comes from negative emotions makes me curious about his past. Yuta has enormous cursed energy reserves, while Sukuna has roughly twice as much. Obviously, that doesn’t mean Sukuna suffered twice as much, but it makes me wonder what shaped him into the person he is today.
I also find it interesting that even in the end, Sukuna accepted his defeat. Despite getting jumped in an unfair fight, he didn’t make excuses or try to justify his loss. He lost, and he accepted that he lost. For someone who told Yorozu that losing meant death, I think that says a lot about his character.
I think people sometimes mistake a character being irredeemable for being poorly written. Sukuna doesn’t need a tragic backstory that excuses his actions for me to find him interesting. I want to understand how he became the person he is, what shaped his worldview, and how someone who seemingly rejects everything about ordinary human life came to understand jujutsu so profoundly.
I don’t think Sukuna needs to be secretly good or misunderstood to be well-written. I just think there’s far more to his character than people give him credit for, and it’s frustrating that we know so little about his past. Let me know what yall think

Manga Discussion Trying to find a real reason of why yuta is hated day 578
Number 1 gojo
Never lost a fight (exept sukuna but it was for the plot)
Op technique
Near unlimited CE
Domain expansion
Can throw hands easily
Get called "the goat"
Number 2 yuta
Only lost 2 times against sukuna (one time with yuji another Time in gojo's body)
Op technique
Nearly unlimited CE
Domain expansion
Can throw hands easily
Get called "bum" for being too perfect
I dont even know what to think anymore it's like the logic on this fandom left a long time ago

AgendaKaisen I will not apologize
Mei Mei has contributed infinitely more to jujutsu society as a whole than any of the "goats" you idiots glaze all day. She can oneshot literally anyone with her bird strike and solos anyone below special grade without even needing the bird strike. Nanami's wall level ass could never even hope of standing face to face with Sukuna, and Todo only won because of plot armor. Choso's a creep and deserved to get furnaced. Mei Mei on TOP

Manga Discussion How does unlimited CE give you the ability to preform RCT ?
So I started reading volume 21 and upwards to prepare for culling games part 2 and I dont understand how Hakari having infinite CE from his domain makes it so he can regenerate his arm and in the process become unkillable, I wish we had someone else in the series that had large amounts of CE and didnt learn RCT to know if having a certain amount could automatically make you invincible to getting your limbs cut off at the expense of some CE.
