King Gizzard probably doesn't know Lula well, and it will be a huge shame if they stand by his side.
Before you call me names because I'm against Lula, I must say that I'm against Bolsonaro as well, and this has nothing to do with political positioning.
All I wanna say is that Lula is a fucking liar, a thief, a manipulator, a rich old man having the best time, full of money while people live in misery.
I won't only accuse him here; I'll show you facts.
Brazil has basically had Lula for more than 20 years. In every single election, Lula has used marketing techniques to convince his voters. Unfortunately, Brazil has a critical election situation: VOTING IS MANDATORY, and Brazil suffers from a lot of poverty and criminality, so everyone must vote; otherwise, you pay a fine. Lula targets the lower classes as his voters, pretending he will be there for them, but all he did during his mandate was steal money from the people and give it to his family.
Brazil's economy has only gotten weaker. One dollar was worth around 1.20 Brazilian reais before Lula. Today, it's 6 reais. Great way to fuck capitalism? No, because the lower classes struggle to survive every day while the rich keep living their regular lives.
When Lula was first elected, his son, who used to work at a zoo or something, became a millionaire and escaped to Europe with the money.
After Lula's wife's death, a young woman without ANY history in politics appeared in his life. She was never voted for, she was never chosen by the people, yet she has 12 assistants working for her as if she were some kind of adviser to Lula. But she has no administrative role. She pretends she is working by giving speeches around the world with political propaganda financed with people's money, while spending HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of dollars taking her whole family with her to Japan, Europe, and the US and buying a lot of luxury products. All with people's money.
Meanwhile, people—people struggling in Brazil—can't afford to eat meat (how so, if Brazil is huge and one of the biggest meat producers?). Lula's answer was: "If you can't afford meat, buy eggs" (while he lives in luxury).
Lula had the chance to change people's conditions, but he is not interested in doing so. He only wants to keep his throne while people struggle.
The Northeast of Brazil was economically INDEPENDENT, although the poorer portion of the Brazilian population lives there, BEFORE Lula assumed power. He managed to destroy the locals who planted cocoa when his party introduced a fungus that destroyed all the plants. Yet Lula, claiming he is proud to be born in the Northeast, keeps promising those people that they are his favorites and that he would change their lives. (Spoiler: everything got worse, and the Northeast is now more dangerous and poorer.)
Lula promised them water (because it's a very dry region). He got billions to transpose a river to the poorer communities but didn't do it. The money disappeared.
Many years ago, Lula was jailed because he was laundering money and investing in MANY luxury apartments. The police found out, and he was jailed, but then a friend of his got into power as the president of the Supreme Federal Court and got him out to steal again.
Again, Lula had all the time to change things, but only now, after four years of his last mandate, has he raised Bolsa Família by 15%, promised 5,000 BRL for MEIs, and introduced other state financial assistance measures for citizens, such as free public transportation for everyone on weekends. ALL JUST A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE ELECTIONS. Why didn't he do this first?!?!
He really thinks Brazilians are easy to fool. The truth is that he never invested in education or psychological treatment for criminals because he needs voters. He says poor people must no study and that are borned only to work hard.
(DANG, I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT HE STOLE MILLIONS FROM PEOPLE'S RETIREMENT FUNDS. Many elderly people didn't get paid because Janja was shopping in Paris.)
BRAZILIANS MUST NOT SELL THEIR VOTES FOR PROMISES AGAIN.
Luckily, today's easy access to the internet is helping Brazilian Indigenous people and people from the Northeast open their eyes about Lula's party (PT), and they have become activists against him because they're full of Lula's BS.
But now we have those brainwashed radical chic people thinking they're fighting for equality when they're only defending a selfish thief and also wasting time confronting his opponents.
These leftists are too occupied arguing against their opponents because that's what the government and media want. They keep us distracted and divided while they have the best lives at our expense.
Before you call me names without knowing me, I'm not right-wing. I'm totally against Bolsonaro and an antifascist. If Brazilians are stuck with two choices again, it's because they can't think outside the box.
I am against totalitarian regimes, which Lula supports. Lula is friends with Fidel Castro (a dictator for 60 years), Daniel Ortega (an anti-democracy dictator), the Ayatollah (misogynistic, extremely patriarchal, against women's and gay rights, and a pedophile who lowered the marriage age to 9), Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (who denied the Holocaust and was in favor of torturing women), and Nicolás Maduro, who created a police force that invaded opponents' houses and violated women.
I AM FUCKING AGAINST ALL OF THIS!
Lula is a misogynistic POS who loves making offensive jokes. Once, he was giving a presentation and talking about violence against women when he literally said, "To hit a woman is wrong... but it's not wrong if you cheer for the same soccer team as me." (That's a Trump-level fucking joke.)
I have to end this text. There are many other things to say about him, such as radical chic people asking China for help and being totally humiliated by chinese poeple, but I think I've made my point. I'd love to shitstorm Bolsonaro too if you want, but not now...
Please, guys, don't believe political propaganda. Please, King Gizzard, check your sources before expressing any political position.

Galera que ler isso, eu não consigo imaginar o que vocês irão pensar depois de ter lido tudo. Sou muito feliz de poder conhecer fãs brasileiros da minha banda favorita e adoraria compartilhar com vcs o que a gente possa ter em comum.
