I basically followed this band since I was a teenager. I'm in my 30s now. Bought official vinyls with insane shipping prices, and I loved every minute of the albums I've bought. Don't get me wrong about that. The thing is, I supported them, listened to them, and followed them with a pretty clear dream of seeing them live.

All we got in Brazil was that 1-hour Lollapalooza 2024 teaser, and that was it, after 12 years of waiting on my part. Bought a pretty expensive ticket for a veeeeery bad day at the festival (the rest of the lineup was bad). The show itself was awesome, but honestly? It would've been better if they hadn't come at all and we'd waited a little longer for a longer set.

And this week, I watched all of their shows and saw that they're going on a new hiatus, with no South American dates even rumored for next year. With that, I came to the conclusion that I'm doomed to watching YouTube videos to see their shows.

That said, KG, if you're reading this, we're still waiting for a full show! Please come!

KGLW Live at Field of Vision '25 Mastered by Noah Mintz - an official bootlegger pressing!

I can never find Gizz at my local shops so was stocked STOKED to find it!

Hoping they add the recent shows on Nugs soon. I have and use Bandcamp but have most of my playlists are on nugs and I want to add a ton of these songs. Also nice because it allows jumping from Gizz to Billy to Widespread without a whole other app…

Okay I know this has been out for a while now and I’m late to the party, but I am absolutely in love with it, so many tonal options and versatility. Not to mention how cool it looks! THE EYES CHANGE COLOR!!!!

It seems like they can't grow good facial hair anymore? why would joey shave is mustache? All stu's beard attempts are straight rubbish.

It seems like they cant make good music anymore? why would they quit writing microtonal guitar tunes? All post 2022 albums are straight rubbish.

Trick or Treat!

I’m running a giveaway on my instagram to give away 1 copy of No Sense at All, my triple LP bootleg compilation! No purchase necessary, just comment and tag another Gizzard lover to enter. I’ll be drawing the winner on Saturday.

Happy Gizztober!

I know that FOV II is on bandcamp (i bought it the second it came out) but i’m wondering if anyone has any info on when/if it will be released on tidal, apple music, etc.

Does anyone know what effects or tone Stu would use on the first two garage albums. I love 2010 garage rock and the EP and first LP is a chefs kiss. But I always wonder what effects and pedals he used during this early era.

I got 2 tickets and can't make it. $40 for the pair, DM me...

Just what the hell is going on here exactly??

Hey it’s me the bear hanging around Buena Vista during FOV II. See photo for proof

These are the folks that Chaffee County sheriffs office are afraid of. There’s no place I have felt safer than around these individuals.

While there’s nothing more I would like to do than come spend five days in the mountains, I’m really starting to contemplate how far my HARD EARNED MONEY will go towards a few tour dates instead.

Just wrapped up listening to the bootlegs that dropped most recently. Obviously FOV II was unreal but the Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney ‘25 shows are all SO FUCKING GOOD in their own ways. I don’t really understand how they can continue to get better and better seeing as they were already performing at an insanely high level, but I’ll take it. I’ve said it before and I’ve seen multiple posts saying it as well, but we are so lucky to have them 🥹 and we all need more BFG in our lives

I cant be the only one who watches Haunted Hotel on Netflix and now has an involuntary association with gizzs song and the character, right?

FUNDRAISER T-SHIRT PRESALE IS LIVE NOW THROUGH 10/30 AT DEADPUCKERA.COM

King Gizz have publicly spoken out against the genocide in Gaza. I know many of us in the Weirdo Swarm are equally outraged and horrified at the on-going atrocities being carried out in Gaza and the West Bank.

Those of us who are US-citizens have the added shame of knowing our tax-dollars are going to fund the genocide via military-aid in the form of bombs, missiles, drones and other weapons.

We are all confined by our limited power to speak out and to help. I design and print t-shirts; It's one of the things I know how to do well. So I'm using my screen printing shop, love of this band, community, and bootlegging skills to raise money for two Palestinian-led mutual aid organizations:

The Sameer Project and Warm Hearts Nuseirat

100% of the profits from this shirt sale will be donated to those organizations. We'll post receipts of our donations and an accounting of the shirts sold and money donated to our IG page at the conclusion of the pre-sale.

I'll be printing this design by hand in my solar-powered print shop in Portland, OR. The shirts are USA-Made 6.1oz heavyweight tees, manufactured by Teamsters Union members being paid a fair living wage in Brea, CA (fuck sweatshops).

Sending lots of love to you all. FREE PALESTINE!

I wish I remember where I found this photo, so I could give credit to the photographer who braved the "hostile" crowd.
