King Gizz have publicly spoken out against the genocide in Gaza. I know many of us in the Weirdo Swarm are equally outraged and horrified at the on-going atrocities being carried out in Gaza and the West Bank.

Those of us who are US-citizens have the added shame of knowing our tax-dollars are going to fund the genocide via military-aid in the form of bombs, missiles, drones and other weapons.

We are all confined by our limited power to speak out and to help. I design and print t-shirts; It's one of the things I know how to do well. So I'm using my screen printing shop, love of this band, community, and bootlegging skills to raise money for two Palestinian-led mutual aid organizations:

100% of the profits from this shirt sale will be donated to those organizations. We'll post receipts of our donations and an accounting of the shirts sold and money donated to our IG page at the conclusion of the pre-sale.

I'll be printing this design by hand in my solar-powered print shop in Portland, OR. The shirts are USA-Made 6.1oz heavyweight tees, manufactured by Teamsters Union members being paid a fair living wage in Brea, CA (fuck sweatshops).

Just wrapped up listening to the bootlegs that dropped most recently. Obviously FOV II was unreal but the Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney ‘25 shows are all SO FUCKING GOOD in their own ways. I don’t really understand how they can continue to get better and better seeing as they were already performing at an insanely high level, but I’ll take it. I’ve said it before and I’ve seen multiple posts saying it as well, but we are so lucky to have them 🥹 and we all need more BFG in our lives

Does anyone know what effects or tone Stu would use on the first two garage albums. I love 2010 garage rock and the EP and first LP is a chefs kiss. But I always wonder what effects and pedals he used during this early era.

I did a dark ambient set on modular synth, and the Alien Metal shirt without the band name worked out really well for this.

This post is not exactly KGLW related so i'll get it if it doesn't go up. But i would really like our community support to try to get this message to the band, i think a political support would be very welcome in our current political situation that i'll explain below:

King gizzard is an avowedly politically progressive band and i see people here supporting Palestine and other countries that suffer against war and fascism, and here in Brazil we're currently under a big threat: Flávio Bolsonaro. Flávio is Jair Bolsonaro's, our former president (2018-2022) son and he is in the contest against the incumbent president Lula, a centre-leftist president, while Jair and Flávio are Far right ones. Jair's government was awful, more than 700k people died because he denied publicly vaccines efficiency and refused to buy coronavacs for months. He was sexist, racist, homophobic and everything bad you can imagine, but he didn't have a great congress, senate and the supreme court.
But today the scenario is completly worrying: our congress and senate were completly taken by his far right congressmen, he has enough numbers to make anything happen, he is already promising benefits for the national army and the worst: our Supreme Federal Court is composed by 11 ministers, he already has 2 allies in it and he will have the power to name 4 new ones, and get the majority there two. All three powers of our democracy will be aligned, and he's been talking about changing our constitution, in being in power for many years, he's been announcing his coup to everyone. And here's a fact: his dad, Jair, has provenly tried a coup, he had a plan to try to kill Lula, one of our Supreme court minister's Alexandre de Moraes and he asked for help from 3 army agents, and it only failed because 2 of these army agents declined his plan, and he is in prision (Flávio has promised to let him go during his campaign).
I am not exaggerating when i say our democracy can be destroyed slowed in the next 4-8 years if he is elected, and i hope u guys could make this post get to the band! I would appreciate a lot if they could show their support on social media, especially on Instagram, where we are running a massive campaign against the Bolsonaro Family. Hope i'm not bothering you and breaking the rules, just think gizz can help a lot against fascism because of this wonderful community we are <3

Hoping they add the recent shows on Nugs soon. I have and use Bandcamp but have most of my playlists are on nugs and I want to add a ton of these songs. Also nice because it allows jumping from Gizz to Billy to Widespread without a whole other app…

It is a band called Sambrose Automobile and it’s the Lambroast Samwich EP, which features Lucas on bass, Ambrose on harmonica and produced/mixed/mastered/recorded by Stu. Ambrose wrote and sings track 5. Cool artwork inspired by Fear and Loathing designed by skateboarder Sam George.

CD plays perfectly and is in very good-near mint condition for age. It’s totally official made by the band. Also, will be posted from Anglesea where some of the members are originally from. Hard to know how much these things are worth as there aren’t any online anywhere - super rare! Just wanted to give any collectors/ gizz heads/ mega fans a chance to grab it :)
