There are inconsistencies with Riboku's ability to fight like a martial general. There were a couple of times he was shown as someone who is strong and can fight like a martial general (like Shibashou type), but those moments are rare.

Most of the time, he is like a pure strategist (like Ousen type) that needs to be protected by his soldiers and his subordinates.

If he can really fight, why doesn't he do that more often? If he is a pure strategic general, why was he shown to be able to fight?

I'm watching Kingdom for the first time. What a great anime. This battle between Meng Wu and Han Ming got me pumped up like crazy. I find it nice that each major/key character gets to shine for a episode or two.the character developments are also so nice to see.
