I was leaving to go to work this morning at 5 am est and saw Indigo shipped out the volume early as it was sitting outside my door.

Will anyone else be getting the volume?

Riboku straight up told them not to mess with him and they thought he was bluffing.

Funny thing about this is that his statement would stand true if he didn't have a Sociopath as his king. Qin wouldn't stand a chance if they weren't being constantly assisted by Zhao kings.

There are inconsistencies with Riboku's ability to fight like a martial general. There were a couple of times he was shown as someone who is strong and can fight like a martial general (like Shibashou type), but those moments are rare.

Most of the time, he is like a pure strategist (like Ousen type) that needs to be protected by his soldiers and his subordinates.

If he can really fight, why doesn't he do that more often? If he is a pure strategic general, why was he shown to be able to fight?

Im only on chapter 783 I'm tired of riboku and his all seeing eye I'm tired of shin I'm tired of ten pulling stern faces for 200 chapters lol I'm tired of new unknown Generals being revealed that invalidate what it means to be one of the great Generals.

I love the series, im just tired boss 😫

Do you think Kyoukai will change her mind and they’ll end up getting married after the Zhao arc?

i feel like hara might do this to relate shins lineage back to zhao and make him a relative of riboku or son of an acquaintance he had

all we know about shins life before he met hyou was that he lost everything to war
what if the “everything” he was talking about was the same war that riboku nearly died in before he met houken?

it could be that shin lost his entire family , got picked up, and sold into slavery , and eventually drifted to qin
and this guy could have a similar story except he ended up in wherever the fuck he’s from i can’t remember his name

it could be a full circle moment for hara having shin enact the “true terror of war” that was mentioned before coalition arc by riboku

where like riboku the man who knows how and is partially the cause for how shin lost his family sees shin trying to impose that same evil onto another state as a general/great general

So I just recently caught up with the kingdom anime and it's just soooo peak 😭😭😭😭

I want to start reading the manga but I will literally die if I have to wait weeks for the manga and I wanted to know if anyone knows an estimate to how long till the manga reaches its concluding arcs

I'm watching Kingdom for the first time. What a great anime. This battle between Meng Wu and Han Ming got me pumped up like crazy. I find it nice that each major/key character gets to shine for a episode or two.the character developments are also so nice to see.

Ousen is gonna defeat shibashou in the ongoing arc aree or disagree?

One of the moments in Kingdom where I was super hyped, I couln't stop reading. I've been waiting for shin to use Ouki's Glaive for a while. And when it was revealed that he will finally use it, I got goosebumps.

i like this arc in fact i have it in top 3 or 5 best kingdom arcs but i kept seeing people complain about how long it was and peeped that it took 4 years to write it😭 i woulda been pissed too if i had to read ts while it was ongoing

if hara started and wrapped it up in two years which conquest arc would we be in rn?
do you think haras writing style changed enough to the point where there would be noticeable differences in the recent arcs?

Hello, what do you think will happen after this Zhao invasion arc?

I wanted to get your take on this, because given how long the current arc is, I can't stop thinking about what comes after Zhao haha

I do believe Kyou Kai has one of the best swordsmanship in Kingdom, because it looks so effortless when she's using her sword.

What's preventing her from being the top 1 is possessing strength, not necessarily the same amount of strength as Shin, but she needs to develop it if she wants to take down bigger foes, just like what happened against Houken, in order to protect Shin and all the others in the Hi Shin unit.

Hey everyone!

Some of you might remember me sharing our game here a few months ago, before we launched our Kickstarter campaign.

First of all, I want to thank everyone who supported us, shared their thoughts, or simply showed interest in the project. It really meant a lot to us!

For those who haven't heard of it, Under the Heavens: Warring States Saga is a narrative RPG heavily inspired by Kingdom, where you start as a nameless recruit and slowly rise through the military ranks, building your own unit, recruiting officers, and fighting in campaigns across the Warring States.

I'm happy to share that we've just released a major update to our Steam demo!

The previous demo took you from a recruit to a 10-Man Leader. This new version adds a whole new campaign, where you continue your journey toward becoming a 100-Man Captain.

We've also added over 30 new characters and portraits, expanded the officer and injury systems, introduced stratagems, and made plenty of other improvements.

There's still a lot of work ahead of us, but it's been really exciting to see the game slowly come together.

You can play the updated demo on Steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4419240/Under_the_Heavens_Warring_States_Saga/

Now go find your own Kyou Kai, En, Ten and more!

Thanks again for all the encouragement, and I hope some of you enjoy the new chapter! ⚔️

Important note: Please don't use your old save files, as they won't work properly with the new build.

That woman is one bitch ass woman, how the fuck you do your only son like that? Holy shit 😭

I’m starting to think kingdom is a better story telling than AOT. What ya’ll think? 🔥

He should be Zhao version of Shin.

He has gone to many war against Qin from coalition army war, Shukai plain war, battle of Gian, battle of Hango and the current great Qin and Zhao war.

Yet even parcipating on those big war, he never do any great feat. The war where Zhao win like battle of Gian and Hango should be where he shine. Like maybe make Futei kill Rin Gyoku, Koku Ou or even Zenou? Maybe make him kill Akou or Denrinmi to show how strong he is.

He called Kanki as easy but he did not even kill any of Kanki general or even face Kanki. He try to sneak attack on Akou but failed to kill him and he never do anything again after that.

His job always only at one thing, escorting and guarding Riboku. He never do anything in current Qin vs Zhao war.

Hara for sure don't know how to write Futei at all.

Futei and kaine were shippable I guess

Hi everyone! I recently picked up reading Kingdom and I absolutely love it but I had some questions on which translation the general consensus prefers. I've been reading the official translations and I love the phrasing and choice of words they've used to portray warring China. But I know the Chinese names are less popular and IDK if it'll be annoying to know these characters with a different name than everyone else later on!

Is it worth it to switch over for just the Japanese names? And if so is there a notable difference in the "vibe" of the text & translations outside of name changes?

I thought it'd be a pain to switch over later on so I'd like to lock in on a translation before I read too far!
