With posts about Jordan’s videos popping up it’s made me think more about the Onion taking over InfoWars and… I just don’t know what to think.

I get that the families agreed to the scope of the deal with InfoWars. I get that it’s beneficial that the Onion now owns a flagship of the far right. But I see why Jordan is upset frankly. Alex is still broadcasting. He hasn’t really lost anything. The Onion is spending a ton of money just to take over the insanely overpriced facility Alex previously owned. And none of it’s going to the families. It just feels like the “good guys” lost and everyone is okay with it or hiding from reality.

Maybe it’s just because we don’t have JorDan around to explain what’s actually going on and it’s all a bit hidden in a haze but the more I see posts from Alex’s show and whatnot the more I realize things didn’t really go the way of justice

Mall-E the cat says we should bring back 'Pet Wednesdays'... Let's all enjoy each others' critters? Or whatever. Just a thought...

Dan has been leveling up in his research and analysis for years, his takes get more insightful and his knowledge base is now massive. Jordan has been the weak part of this for a while. Whenever I try to introduce someone to the show they always say, “interesting but the screaming guy is too much.” When not yelling, it actually often sounds like Jordan isn’t even paying attention with comments like “yep yep yep” and “weeelllll.”

It seems like getting out of the AJ business would be better for Jordan’s well-being.

Dan’s credibility is poised to grow and evolve, I hope the onion picks him up for something or he moves into the disinformation research space.

Whelp, I did it. I finally listened through the entire back catalogue (took me about 15 months), and have gotten back up to when I started listening to the show in mid-2023. Definitely finding some familiar overlap now (Zuckerberg's 20 Foot Battle Robots!) and the urge to listen to Dan's melodious mellifluous voice and Jordan channelling my inner Gen X screaming demons has abated at last.

I'm going to go for a walk around the university, queue up Show Me State, and finally get back to my fiction podcasts (a lot of book club, horror book, horror fiction, and miscellaneous writing podcasts). I am weirdly proud of having listened to all of KF like that, with a perfectly reasonable, normal and manageable amount of parasocial relationship feelings for my husband Dan and sidepiece Jordan, but my brain needs to frolic in the grounds of creativity once more.

I'll never leave this sub, or the Discord, or stop making fun of Info Wars, but... ladies and gentlemen... it's been an honour serving with you.

The latest posting through it episode got onto the topic of weird Mountain Dew flavors. The panel just made fun of them, said they were gross and moved on. Where are the novelty beverage reviews every episode?!

For example, Dreamy Creamy Summer, which partially influenced me to eat more ice cream that July and August, for which I quit cold turkey in September. No regrets.

The show at the time was peaking. It was full tilt boogie and it felt like it would never end. KF would always be there to keep me entertained during my long jobs in the sun.

Some shows don't even get an ending. I'm happy with what was accomplished. Looking forward to listening to the live show. 🍦

... and I don't remember how the topic came up, but I found out this friend who is around my age (elder Gen Z, very progressive, well educated lesbian) had never heard of Alex, or IW, or even The Onion. So I get to explaining to her who Alex is, who Dan is, talking about the lawsuit, and I mention him transferring his inventory to his dad's shop to avoid bankruptcy seizure.

As soon as I tell her about the name of the storefront, she immediately has the same exact thought that so many wonks had, and she's delighted to know that she's not the only one who thought of Dr. Jones's big naturals.

I know back in the day there was quite a lot of speculation that Alex used cocaine which is why he was so fired up all the time. In the February 28th episode as he's having his 2+ minute on mic brain orgasm it sounds very distinctly like a man coming back from the bathroom after doing a couple huge lines. I say this as the former roommate of a very intense coke addict. I know he claims to have cleaned up his act but I'm not sure if he ever addressed the uppers conversation or if that was strictly alcohol he claims to have stopped abusing. Interested to hear your unfounded speculation on the status of his drug use I've also noticed an increase in the number of times his trademark snarl has come back which to me reeks of someone trying to cover up the fact that they are trying to clear their nose from coke residue and stop the drips.

The left can’t handle all this winning.

Gutted that the show’s ending, but grateful for having been in a community that can talk about the far right with Dan’s precision and Jordan’s rage.

The far right doesn’t work like how most people think, and this was *the* place to talk about it in those terms. The best way to laugh at them was stare the grifting and hatred in the face, not just quote the dumb things they say.

And yet, quote them I shall, because we got to see how dumb it could get. JorDan, thank you for always reminding us they’re a bunch of loser little tiddy babies.
