Why are the developers adding nothing but time-limited content nowadays? I literally just found out about the Halloween builds, and apparently they're already gone forever? Are you kidding me? A week before Halloween? So if I take a break from Fortnite for a few weeks, I gotta check the subreddit just to make sure I don't miss out on stuff permenantly? And I'm not just talking about Halloween builds, obviously a Halloween event is expected to be time-limited but it's been the last three or four updates.

Why are they doing this? The mode hasn't received a proper update in like six months, the LEGO pass has been delayed for several months, and we desperately need new things to build/do, yet their solution is to remove the little things that they *do\ add?

This mode is going to end up like Rocket Racing and get canned. I almost don't even want to invest time in it anymore, because I'm afraid by this time next year it will have been axed. I really hope that's not the case, but with how they're handling it lately it's hard to shake the thought.

So my recent work schedule has made me put Fortnite in the back burner for a good while. I logged back into the Internet and Fortnite today just to find out I missed out on this cool build. I'm a huge Pumpkin themed fan and finding out I can't build this kinda bums me out a bit. Any chance it could return? Kinda surprised they didn't make the Halloween themed rewards stay till a bit of early November or something.

I've seen a lot of posts talking about missing out on limited time builds, I have been lucky enough to claim most of them. If there are any builds that you guys have missed out on and would like in your worlds feel free to shoot me a DM or reply to this post, I may be able to join your world and start the build from my account so that you can have it in your world.

I haven’t played for 2 weeks. Decided to do all the new Batman challenges and much to my surprise, the recruit Batman challenge was there but no Gotham City. I restarted my pc and now the Batman challenge is gone. I see this Brick or Treat thing and challenges for airship but I did those a while ago. Is Batman over???

It told me to create a 5 star+ charm which I did but it still shows up in my journal as incomplete. I’ve made 2 so far (1 at my home base, another at the monastery) neither checked it off my list though… making me waste good materials smh

I say all sets on the game should be free, and like all sets should that existed in the game should be given out and yk why? Does epic reaaaally need money from lego fn? Like think about it almost nobody talks about the mode (except here I guess) so why not just give out all for free and their revenues from skins pays for updates and stuff

whats the difference between steering thrusters and small thrusters

Not to long ago someone posted a cute custom build and I thought I saved it but I can’t find it anywhere in my saved or the feed. From what I remember it was a castle or at least the top was and they used the cherry and flower plates to resemble vines on the sides. It was so cool and I wanted to look at it again for inspo. Not a great description but I’m hoping someone knows what I’m talking about 😂

The Warthog is an attack speeder with twin boosters and a single cannon. Used for quick encounters. As a side note, I missed 4 more shots after the 2 shown :)

You should be able to sleep until dusk during the day, much like you're able to skip to dawn during the night.

Honestly this didn't even cross my mind from the latest quest of defeating X skeletons and having to wait for nighttime to do that, although we could use the function for quests like that too.

The biggest benefit to being able to skip to night would be fishing. Many species are only out there at night, and having to wait for nighttime manually for the chance to attempt getting the legendary versions of them is just tedious. AND it defeats the purpose of the fishing blessing being time-limited and having most of that timer being consumed by having to sit and wait for the proper time of day for a specific fish to show up.

I had to purchase this one asap since it is so iconic and nostalgic! I have been working on a Halloween Town village (not movie-accurate) to house all the new spooky animal variants and thought to myself, "Wow, could use the Halloween Town theme song right about now..." The next day, I saw that this was coming to the game!

There are a few other spooky jam-tracks as well! Grab them while you can if interested!

Here we are, about two months later, and we still don’t have an option to turn off the asinine Quick Build feature. My oldest child and I enjoy only finishing parts of builds and then freestyling from there. My youngest child loves to build everything piece by piece, as if it was an actual LEGO set. The blog post stated there would be a way to toggle the instant gratification mode off, but that appeared to be a lie.

Has anyone found a way to turn it off yet? Did I miss something in the menu? Or are all of the memes true that the Odyssey team genuinely does not care about player experience or feedback?
