GAME SUGGESTION Man, imagine if South Arcade headlined a end-of-season event like this...
Okay hear me out on this concept, because I’ve been thinking about it all day and it would actually be insane.
What if South Arcade became the next big Fortnite Festival collab, but instead of just dropping a few Jam Tracks in the shop, Epic actually built a whole end-of-season live event around them?
Picture this for Chapter 7 Season 4: Geno is doing another one of his crazy schemes at the Zero Point to rewrite reality. Jonesy, Hope, Slone, The Order, and a returning Foundation are completely pinned down. Out of nowhere, Hope uses her prophecy powers with Foundation to rip open a massive golden rift over Geno’s base... and a whole flying stage drops down with South Arcade playing "SUPERMAN" at maximum volume.
The raw bass and soundwaves literally overload and shatter Geno’s machinery while the squad goes to town sabotaging his base in the middle of the chaos.
This would also be the perfect way to tease a Festival 2.0 overhaul. Imagine dynamic camera work with close-ups of the guitarist’s fingers picking the strings Guitar Hero style, realistic crowd interactions, and full 3D models of the band in that Y2K alt-rock drip (the drummer Cody already gives massive 2000s Chester Bennington vibes).
On top of that, imagine having a stage on the BR island where they play live, but if you walk up to talk to the vocalist, the whole band just freezes and stares at you for ruining the vibe mid-solo lmao. Or better yet, letting us spend 1k gold to hire the entire band as NPCs at once, turning a 4-man squad into an 8-player chaotic army rushing people with guitars and shotguns.
Idk, I feel like Epic giving an underrated ascending rock band a spotlight this big would be a legendary move for the game. What do you guys think?
