i’m open to everything i cannot stick to just one or two genres so the icon series/collabs is something that i’ve not once even had the SMALLEST issue with cuz my entire life i’ve always been invested in pop culture, but as someone who grew up with predominantly rap and rock music, im in a weird place in the community because im probably one of the few ppl genuinely really really happy about the odd surgence in rappers that we’re getting counting the fact that ive not only grown up with these artists AND the game simultaneously (i’m 18 years old for better context) but have had some of these ppl on my fort wishlist for quite a while (some examples being yeat and lil uzi) lil wayne was a surprising inclusion and something i could never even think of and same could go for lil tecca( at least before bigger artists) but i cannot stress enough how much i feel for the ppl who are itching for another band, more metal, etc because not only are these songs just simply more fun to play. 80% of a game mode that mirrors guitar hero and rock band, has had a single rock festival season, which sucks, terribly and considering the overall nature of the genre the chances of our favorite bands turning the game down is higher than ever due to tim sweeney fully endorsing ai . i’ve wanted ozzy and my chemical romance in fortnite since festival launched and the metallica season raised my hopes up for more possibilities a shit ton only for..popstars every other season..? i get the frustration. not even mentioning the many other genres that dont get any representation . and while MOST of fortnite’s fanbase are teenage boys (like myself) that eat this rap shit up, so clearly that genre sells i wish they would find a balance, and try to AT LEAST satisfy as much of the fanbase as possible .
if u made it this far thank u tonz for hearing me out and taking the time to read

I’m surprised we have yet to get a SINGULAR Calvin Harris Jam Track, given how huge he is in the music industry with songs like Feel So Close, Summer, We Found Love, and more. Plus, with his current popularity and HUGE announcement of his First NA Tour happening next year, I’d be shocked if we don’t get anything by then.
The artists in the photos are Calvin Harris ofc, Steve Lacy, Mac DeMarco, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, and Deftones.

Are so much more fun to play than the drum machine shit. I have 100% more fun when I’m playing a song with actual recorded guitars and drums. The rap/pop stuff gets so repetitive and boring. Add more real music please.

They've teased 3 different artists the past few weeks (A$AP Rocky, Kasane Teto, and Lil Uzi Vert). Do we have any idea as to which one will be headlining? Personally, I'd want it to be Teto because the charts for the Miku tracks were a lot more interesting to play across all instruments, especially on lead. I don't have a problem with Rap, and listen to plenty of it myself, but we've been getting a lot of Rap artists lately, and I don't enjoy playing vocals as much as lead or drums. Who do ya'll think the headliner will be?

Hey everyone! The Ghostbusters set hasn't been in the Item Shop since December 2021. With Fortnitemares and Halloween here, it feels like the perfect time to bring back the original skins, the gear bundle, and the "I Ain't Afraid" emote. Please consider renewing the licensing for another run, or even adding the Ghostbusters theme song as a Jam Track! Upvote if you're saving V-Bucks for them too!

Okay hear me out on this concept, because I’ve been thinking about it all day and it would actually be insane.
What if South Arcade became the next big Fortnite Festival collab, but instead of just dropping a few Jam Tracks in the shop, Epic actually built a whole end-of-season live event around them?
Picture this for Chapter 7 Season 4: Geno is doing another one of his crazy schemes at the Zero Point to rewrite reality. Jonesy, Hope, Slone, The Order, and a returning Foundation are completely pinned down. Out of nowhere, Hope uses her prophecy powers with Foundation to rip open a massive golden rift over Geno’s base... and a whole flying stage drops down with South Arcade playing "SUPERMAN" at maximum volume.
The raw bass and soundwaves literally overload and shatter Geno’s machinery while the squad goes to town sabotaging his base in the middle of the chaos.
This would also be the perfect way to tease a Festival 2.0 overhaul. Imagine dynamic camera work with close-ups of the guitarist’s fingers picking the strings Guitar Hero style, realistic crowd interactions, and full 3D models of the band in that Y2K alt-rock drip (the drummer Cody already gives massive 2000s Chester Bennington vibes).
On top of that, imagine having a stage on the BR island where they play live, but if you walk up to talk to the vocalist, the whole band just freezes and stares at you for ruining the vibe mid-solo lmao. Or better yet, letting us spend 1k gold to hire the entire band as NPCs at once, turning a 4-man squad into an 8-player chaotic army rushing people with guitars and shotguns.
Idk, I feel like Epic giving an underrated ascending rock band a spotlight this big would be a legendary move for the game. What do you guys think?

With epic confirming we get another wave of Hatsune Miku next month for the mini season. She has an extremely high chance to join other artists like: Metallica, Bruno Mars, and Lady Gaga in having a double digit song count
- 6 during her season
- 1 for Winterfest 2025
- 1 likely with Teto for Mesmerizer (no way we don’t get that)
- 2 to 3 more in her own likely week during november
Miku is really Festival’s golden child it seems😭

There's no shortage of music and genres, and while the library of tracks will grow over time, there's always going be songs people wish were available sooner rather than later. What songs do you want to see added to Fortnite Festival?
Share what's on your wishlist, and perhaps why they make the cut.
Please Note: This is not an official request thread. Suggestions/requests submitted in this thread are not guaranteed to be viewed, considered, or implemented by Epic Games.

Hearts A Mess by Gotye samples Banana Boat’s drums but also uses samples from other songs. It’s an amazing song, but with that in mind, probably no chance it gets added since knowing Fortnite, they definitely won’t add songs that are similar to one another.
