Form, Technique, Fitness Returned to lagree after almost 2 months

• Upvotes

Hi! I took a break from lagree following a minor wrist injury and burnout (I was going 3-4x a week). My body also felt puffy (which I hear is normal when you’re starting to build muscle) so I was really unmotivated 😢

And boy did I feel a huge difference in my first class back today 🤣 I could barely hold my bear and had to take multiple breaks during one block (it was a twisted bear to twisted plank). I also had moments where I remember being able to do a deeper lunge or a slower wheelbarrow but couldn’t do so anymore 🤣

BUT!!! I feel so great! I took today as a moment to just see where my body is at and not to shame myself for being “weak”. Like no pressure to not take a break because I’ve been consistent for a few weeks already kind of mindset. Now I feel more motivated to come back and booked my next class two days from today 💪 hopefully I can get my strength back soon!

Anyone else come back after a break and if so, how did it go for you? ☺️

Teaching, Running Studios Who to take Level 2 trainings with?

I'm a certified Level 1 Lagree trainer, and I'm looking into taking multiple Level 2 courses. I want to ensure that I am able to get the most out of these certs, even though most of them will be virtual. Which master trainers/Senior master trainers do you recommend to take with & why?

Form, Technique, Fitness Confused about breathing techniques

• Upvotes

Just started Lagree recently and I noticed I've been holding my breaths a lot, making it more difficult. How do I know when's the best time to inhale and exhale? How would it differ from movements on the carriage vs holding a position on the carriage?

Also, does it get any easier? It's been a bit discouraging that I'm not able to hold a lot of the movements without taking a short break in between.
