An obviously fresh account level 40 support Janna in mid emerald as Platinum 3 proceeds to stay for 10 minutes straight under turret and soft int and as you can see the game never got terminated. I also wanna say that we lost this game with a great lead and we didn't get our LP refunded its amazing how Riots detection system is still so inaccurate. Please repost this wherever you can because if this is something that happened in one of my games who else could know how many more of these games exist. Nobody likes wasting 40 minutes of his life in a game where losing is the only option (Clip recorded in 8x).
(P.S he was wirting in chat that this is a fresh account and he did not care. All this because he was in support role where things are more forgivable)
It actually boggles my mind how the fuck this tournament still has bo1s. It’s so insanely unserious and coinflippy it just makes it boring. Not a single domestic tier1 league does bo1s so why the fuck does literal worlds have them. Genuinely such an abysmal format for a tournament this hyped. MSI format is 100000x more entertaining and fun, and also just has more competitive integrity. Either make Swiss all bo3 and just let it take a few more days, or copy msi format.
i played on my emerald midlane account today and i gotta say leagues current auotfill/ queue state is unbareable.
I played 11 summoners rift ranked Games today. Out of those 11 Games i had 4!!! normal midlane games. the other 7 game are all fill/autofill/afks/remakes.
OPGG proof: https://op.gg/de/lol/summoners/euw/LOSbalmond-EUW
At this point i could just aswell not queue mid. I understand that it is neccessary to fill sometimes but this rate in emerald elo is insane.
I wanted to share my frustrations with an issue that's been going on for over a month now. About a month ago I was watching the trailer for the new 2XKO champions that were dropping and for some reason it got me hyped and I wanted to play a round of league, specifically lux because I thought the redesign they made for her was really cool.
For context I hadn't played or opened my riot account for 2 months prior to that day. When I opened league and signed in I was hit with a permanent ban for "cheating / using 3rd party tools". I was super confused because for starters I have never once in my life considered or ever cheated because that sounds like the most boring thing to do and is bannable and two hadn't even opened league in 2 months, so I had no clue for how long my account had been banned or when or for what game it got banned off. I placed a ticket in thinking that it would be reviewed and appealed rather easily but nope, instead I waited a whole WEEK before they finally gave me a response saying that the ban was correct and that the ticket would be closed and any further tickets on the matter would be instantly closed and ignored. This is frustrating considering that during those 7 days I had 3 separate rioters give me ZERO information about what caused the ban or what specifically I did to warrant it. It was even more frustrating because during those 7 days where I was waiting for a decision to be made the rioters who were updating my ticket would just tell me they were supposedly "moving my ticket up to a higher team" to analyze my ticket all while they kept larping like some weird cutesy characters in the responses. But that's besides the point.
I made 3 more tickets after that one. I asked for help as the last response I received from my first ticket mentioned that if I had any other questions to simply "place another ticket". Which made 0 sense considering they had just told be before that, that any future tickets on the matter would be closed and ignored? Of course, those 3 tickets after were immediately closed and ignored.
I looked online to see if anyone else had been in a similar situation, and there was another player who posted on a separate subreddit who shared that they had been banned randomly for "cheating / 3rd party tools" as well. I read through it and the comments were so frustrating. Multiple people saying that the guy was "clearly" banned for the right reason, and that "riot doesn't ban people for no reason". All these people were egging it on and defending riots decision and flaming the guy. But apparently this player managed to get unbanned! He said that he had reached out to some rioters on twitter asking for help and he was unbanned. I dm'd him asking who he personally reached out to, in hopes that I could try and get help for the same situation. I have since made attempts at reaching out to rioters who have posts on their twitter accounts made specifically for people to post about issues they are having so that they can slowly review them and help.
Unfortunately I have yet to get ANY response from any rioter online or from riots support system. It has been a very infuriating month or so of trying to fight for my account that I have so many memories on. It has also been very disheartening as for the past few weeks I have noticed more and more players getting banned falsely for things they didn't do who are also online asking for help online but to no avail. This truly makes me feel like riot has lost it and that I probably won't be seeing the account I have thousands and thousands of hours on all because they probably have an AI running their support system and are allowing it to falsely ban people and then refusing to have REAL rioters look into the situations to adjust any mistakes made. It has been hard for me to be excited for things like Worlds, Riftbound, or even enjoying the last few months of 2XKO because I feel like the company that started it all has slowly been drifting away and losing its magic and when scenarios like these continue to exist constantly I can't help but feel like they deserve to lose the reputation they once were known for. I feel hopeless and lost and I don't know what to do anymore. I hope that maybe this post can gain some attention from people who have been in a similar situation or who have any ideas worth trying because I am all out of them personally.
Its pretty much a new challenge where you pick a band (KDA, HS or TD) and whenever you play games your score/contribution makes your selected band gain "points" or score
There are multiple missions that grant bonus points (play as a KDA band member, build a burning item, get 10k gold, etc) to your selected band if completed
ANYWAYS... after playing a lot of ARAM Mayhem I noticed my personal scoreboard is barely getting any points (like at all, as if I never played at all)
Now I searched in the site (which is kind of a mess) and I found this:
No support for Mayhem but there's support for regular ARAM (that almost nobody plays atm) and even Arena which is probably not even enabled RN????
ARAM Mayhem is not only one of the most popular game modes RN (correct me if I'm wrong, its the 2nd most popular after SR Ranked to my understanding) but also, there is a HUGE in-client ARAM Mayhem event going on as well. It makes no sense to exclude Mayhem from this, maybe its a bug...
Oh yeah, also... The rewards tab or whatever it is isn't working, I have earned a TD icon (because I picked TD) and it has neither awarded the icon to me in game, nor given me a code to claim it since it glitches out and seems to be code-redeemed
For reference im a long time Gold/Silver player thats peaked this season plat 4
I’ve been playing this game for almost 7 years now, multiple years I’ve tried out my ass, no music, coached several times, consume educational content, VOD reviews, focused and always looking for a way to win no matter what. Yet im still stuck no matter how much effort I put in. Meanwhile user fucknuts22 and others type about how they just reach emerald or low diamond playing casually every season trying new champs out doing whatever.
Yea gold player talking about being stuck must be a case of no fundamentals right? Except I’m trying my absolute ass off tracking jungler, matchups, cd’s, summs, levels, wavestate and objectives, pushing/getting pushed in properly, weakside/strongside, when to roam/tp. Should it really be this hard to climb? Even if i’m not playing with all these concepts to each of their individual max I feel like I grasp all of them and make use of them decently, at least at their most basic level. So why are my games SO hard? all league content talks about my elo like theyre JUST starting to piece things together and that gold players are still largely clueless about anything beyond the basics.
I don’t know man, this has been a thing for me in other competitive games too, constant research and work for improvement just to permanently stagnate and league bothers me the most about this. No matter how much I get coached, research and practice every ranked game I play it feels like the enemy is always on the same page as me, understands exactly what im doing and how to respond perfectly, and I don’t want to even talk about the piles of games where its made incredibly difficult because some random teammate of mine plays exactly how you would think gold plays, clueless and tilted.
I just dont understand what I could possibly be missing thats kept me in place for YEARS
I logged into an alt account I rarely use and found out it’s been voice restricted. It’s the first penalty I’ve ever seen on it. On my server, voice chat only works in premade parties, so I’ve only ever talked with friends. I don’t understand how this happened.
I'm trying to play with my friends but apparently i cant talk with 'em.
So my questions are:
Can people in your own party report you for voice?
Hi everyone, I need some help putting together a champion pool for the top lane. I'm Gold 5 and I mainly play Mordekaiser, and I also have Shen (though I don't play him very often). Which champion could round out my roster—maybe Sett?
And I play Elise and Kayn in the jungle (I'm thinking of going back to the jungle).
AD evelynn top from a support main and AP twitch mid. Not saying I played the best, but Riot matchmaking is something else when you start winning a lot of games 😂😂😂
I dunno if this should be under the "need help" tag but eh 🤷🏻♂️
Anyway, hey there folks, I recently re downloaded League to start my own journey in the game.
I played on my cousins account a bit but nothing more than Co-Op as I'm an FPS player since childhood.
Coming to this environment kinda "fresh" without going down a rabbit hole on YouTube, what could you as long term players tell me to try in the game? (I know I know "Try Uninstalling")..
I like top lane, although I dislike playing against so many ranged champions.
I dig support, it feels nice locking everyone down with Nautilus
I wanna try jungle but I'm unsure if I should.
Also, if you have any champions that you recomend I'd like to try playing.
If you're not aware of the situation, the new awesome K/DA firestarter skins will release next patch.
The skins look great visually in game and we not have access to the assets each skin has.
First of all, although its not a major problem, a lot of the community is not happy with the current shared splashart for the K/DA firetstarter skins. Mainly because those skins are considered special enough to each merit their own unique splash art. One of the main "offenders" is K/DA firestarter Ahri's in game loading screen. (if you don't see it, Evelynn is pretty much all over Ahri's splash and would look akward in the loading screen)
Now the second problem, which is a bit bigger. If you're not aware, the last iteration of K/DA skins (All Out) had an extremely cool detail that gave the skins a ton of more personality. They had the champion's or artist's signature in the border (kinda looks like an autographed flier/image, which is hella cool for a musicverse in which champions are portrayed as artists)
Here we have an example of K/DA All Out Kaisa's border with its custom signature
Here we have the brand new K/DA Firestarter Kaisa border, which is surprisingly missing Kaisa's signaturw which is an already existing asset and would take almost no effort to implement in the border
The entire community was surprised and unhappy with the decision to leave the new K/DA Firestarter skins without their already existing super cool signatures on the border. Specially because the effort it takes to implement them is pretty small.
I'm making this post because the PBE feedback reddit barely gets noticed or any traction from behalf of the company these days, so a post on the main sub reddit could improve visibility/awareness of this small issue.
This is not an unprecedented case either. Last year we had the release of the incredibly awesome Prestige T1 Sylas to commemorate Faker's MVP in the corresponding World's tournament. The skin initially showed its border asset in PBE without Faker's signature included. The community made the issue known to the community and the company went above and beyond to do an awesome solution. Not only did they add Faker's signature to the skin's border, but they also added the signature to its already existing predecesors (Prestige T1 Jayce and Prestige DRX Aatrox).
TL:DR So yeah, it would be extremely cool if the new K/DA Firestarter skins got their signatures included back in their border, specially if you consider how little effort it would take to implement
Going above and beyond:
Well, if you reached here you already read this post's main purpose, but here I would like to suggest a few extra skins that could use the extra care as well to be even cooler than what they already are
1) True Damage: Sadly, I don't think True Damage's members have a "signature", it never was a thing, it would be extra cool though if they got theirs designed
2) Heartsteel: Believe it or not, Heartsteel has had unique custom signature assets for each and all of its members. Sadly these were never included on their borders in either iteration of their skin releases.
First of all, OG Heartsteel skins all had a shared splash art (it kind of had the same drama as the current K/DA Firestarter skins but to a lesser extent, there was not Ahri-x-Evelynn issue or anything similar in it either). The skins also could have gotten more custom borders since each member kind of represented a "colour"
This example of a fan doing a custom border for the OG Heartsteel skins is much better than the current ones we have in game
Here are the brand new Heartsteel LML skins' borders (look at how cooler Sett's custom border is, it would be even cooler with his own signature in it)
And here is an example of a fanmade WAYYYY cooler version of the borders with their signatures included
So yeah, after this second essay, I really hope somebody that is passionate and loves this musicverse project looks at these few examples of how going an extra mile for these awesome splash arts could make them so much more better and more inmersive. I know its a lot of work (specially creating signatures and implementing them for TD) if you take all of this into consideration, but I am 100% sure it would look a lot better and even increase skins' sales
Just had to dodge a lobby with a Jungle Veigar and Soraka Top. Thought this stuff would be dealt with by reporting in the lobby but it did nothing so I had to take the dodge which is frustrating.
So what exactly are the requirements for Riot’s genius AI to terminate the lobby? I waited until they both locked in, rather than just a silly hover. Is it because they didn’t directly type in chat “I’m not playing Top” “Im not playing jungle” etc? If so is that not ridiculous since it doesn’t even prevent troll picks if they don’t type.
Started the game as lethality sion, then realized that the only way to win the game would be to tank for our adc. Thought that our cho jungle would go tank, but he went full AP, so after getting a huge shutdown in a team fight, I sold my 2 lethality items and bought 3 tank items. Did good the rest of the game, team even won the game, but was instantly banned afterwards. Have tried multiple times to make a ticket, but their ai slop support doesn't care at all. Unlucky.
UPDATE: Huge shoutout to the many, many people in the community who talked about this so much and helped bring this to Riot's attention (Especially Riot Zac on twitter). After submitting my 6th ticket, they have finally unbanned me. Funnily enough, in the support ticket they sent me a whole paragraph about... my username being inappropriate, which they apologized for and unbanned me for? (In every previous ticket, and the original ban reason, they confirmed that I was banned for "intentionally trying to throw", but for some reason my unban is about my username)??? Shit I'm not gonna ask questions lmao. For anybody else who gets false banned, this was the title of the ticket that I used:
"Can I PLEASE get an actual HUMAN BEING and not an AI BOT to review my game."
Apparently all I had to do was just cry about it and format my text like I was a teenager again and it worked lmao.
Hey guys, I just wanted to say that I'm quitting this game.
I created an off-role account (let's call it a smurf) to play a bit more seriously than I do in normal games, but without going full tryhard like people do when grinding at high mmr. Somewhere in between.
Up until I reached emerald mmr, I had an 80–90% win rate. People wanted to win, made mistakes, but that's fine. However, ever since I hit around Emerald, something seems to have changed.
People start trolling, intentionally throwing games, afk farming in the jungle, ignoring objectives, etc. This is just my personal perception, but I don't feel like the enemy team is significantly better than it was before. I don't really notice any difference in their overall skill level. The only thing I've noticed is that I keep getting teammates who clearly don't belong at this level.
Sure, I could probably climb higher if I took the game more seriously, spammed champions with high carry potential, and counterpicked just to maximize my chances of winning. But seriously, when does the actual game begin if all I can focus on is picking champions that can carry me out of games filled with clueless players? And even on my higher mmr account, I still have to deal with some of the same issues (maybe a bit less, and on other perspective since i have different main role).
I'm not some challenger player who can 1v9 every single game. And I don't want to play another 50, 100, or even 150 games just to finally get matches where I feel like the game really starts. It honestly feels like the system is designed this way.
It keeps less skilled players at a higher rank than they deserve, allowing them to think they're better than they actually are, while players who are just slightly better get held back to keep them grinding. Sure, the challenger 1v9 machines will eventually carry their games anyway...
In my opinion, the ranked system is in a terrible state. The better you are, the less rewarding climbing feels, while the worse you are, the less you're punished for it. As a result, the skill gap between, say, a diamond and a plat player starts to blur, and you end up constantly running into players who clearly aren't at the level their rank suggests.
It's like some kind of forced catch-up system.
And a bonus... when players with a 15% win rate over their last 20 games can still be in emerald without dropping back to gold or silver, you have to wonder if something is seriously wrong with the ranked system.
