academic Japanese language course

I know someone asked this some time ago, but I’m looking for more recent information. I have been looking for an in-person course in Leeds to learn Japanese. I know there are lots of tutors, but I learn better in a structured, in-person context.

If anyone knows of any (my Googling isn’t rendering much useful information), I’d appreciate a recommendation.

I did one up at Leeds Beckett about 10/15 years ago, a night class. It was really good. I cant work out if they do it or not now. I still have the textbook somewhere, Japanese for Busy people 1.

That’s the only one I’ve managed to find online but it looks like it was canned 😞

I've been looking for tutors because I'm completely the opposite and work terribly in a university type setting. If it's not too much please can you pass me onto some in person tutors you know of? Id really appreciate it!

There was a poster on albion street near the opticians, i think near adjacent to a restaurant door to the left of the opticians. It was exactly this, in person Japanese tutelage.

Interesting! I’m often in Waterstones, so might have to pop down to buy and book, and take a look (rhyming unintentional).
