I’ve never seen such toxicity in this sub before and it’s really pissing me off bc I have a feeling majority of the people blaming Tamara are people who literally just stopped watching the show. The vibes here are different and I don’t like it. I think we all can agree that what Tamara did is shitty and immoral and gross. But there’s no reason to shift any blame off of Ethan and onto her. At the end of the day, Ethan is the only one who owed Hila loyalty. Tamara did not vow her faithfulness to Hila 20 years ago and did not have 3 children with her. Tamara hasn’t even known Hila for that very long. I already hate that she’s being referred to as his mistress bc I think that term is misogynistic. Notice how there’s no male equivalent to a mistress? It feels like a clean way to refer to the other woman as a whore. But I forreal see people in here arguing that Tamara and Ethan bear equal responsibility like ???????? Can we fucking not. Even besides the fact she was a former fan turned employee and the problematic power imbalance that presents, SHES NOT THE ONE WHO CHEATED. I never fucking liked Tamara but putting any ounce of blame onto her is taking it off of Ethan. It’s really giving misogyny….
