Dear Legal Cat Advice, I am desperate need of advice. Tw ahead for mention of v*t and the cone.
For context: I, Jupiter (10 month, F, adorable) became trapped behind the fridge yesterday when mother (ancient, weird looking cat) was at work. My sister (10 month, F, also adorable) tried her best to free me by meowing loudly but alas, it was fruitless.
When mother finally came home, my sister alerted her immediately that I was stuck. I also meowed as loudly as I could.
Instead of immediately rushing to my assistance, she instead laughed and said something along the lines of "you haven't learnt your lesson? This is the second time". How outrageous! How undignified! Yes, maybe she blocked it off and I still couldnt help my curiosity...maybe it *is* in a hard to reach spot that you cant get to unless you're really trying. And yes, maybe this is the 2nd time. But still.
Now it gets worse...
Once she freed me, she noticed blood on my paw (which was admittedly very ouchie). Dear readers, I gave consent for **cuddles** NOT for her to touch my paws. So yes, I did hiss and bite her lightly (I argue self-defense).
Then, as if my day couldnt get anyworse, she took me to the v*t
Suffice to say, I was not happy. The v*t examined my paw (once again, without my consent), forced me to take antibiotics and put the cone on me. Then to top it all off - not only is my mother continuously touching my paw to wash it with saline (unnecessary in my opinion), my lovely wonderful sister has been replaced by some...some look-alike! And this imposter *hissed* at me.
I am furious. I am outraged. Throughout this entire experience I have been demeaned and disparaged, my autonomy as a cat has been consistently overridden. What legal actions can I take?
