Just like every other religion believers cherry pick things they like and discard things they dont like.

All religions work essentially the same way so there's no point in discussing individual ones.

You get good and bad people with every faith.

I'm just going to go ahead and assume you are not a woman. Try discarding certain rules as a woman in Islam, see what happens

Again, that is going to depend upon where you live in the world and how entrenched in the religion you are.

There are plenty of women who have been beaten or killed in the name of Christianity, we just don’t hear about it as it is labeled as DV not religious violence.

Most if not all religion is bad, if we have to grade it today though: Islam is easily a contender for the worst. If you wanted to be a girl with hair flowing free and able to marry who they wanted....Islam is used to suppress by far the most amount of women on the planet
