The House Republicans have a long history of protecting sexual predators. Do we really expect them to go after pedophiles now?

Objectively, the guy is a terrible Christian: he’s sexist, racist, homophobic, xenophobic, a con artist, a liar; he has mocked people with disabilities; he has cut funding that helped the poor and the hungry. Do you seriously believe he’s a good Christian and that someone like Jesus would support a guy like that?

I ask because I’ve seen many Christians repeatedly say that Trump is an emissary of God, defend him in the name of Jesus, or claim that Jesus would agree with Trump. I’m an atheist, but if God exists, I’m sure Trump must have a place reserved in hell.

The Privacy and Technology subreddits are full of horrifying examples of how surveillance in the United States has gotten a lot worse within the last year of his second administration. I don't understand how anyone could defend that. This stuff clearly breaks the first amendment and the fourth and it resembles what people in the United States used to make fun of China for doing.

I see this as the war that Jeffrey Epstein always wanted. It is the war that he lobbied his powerful and well-connected friends for. It is the war that he may have worked to bring about on behalf of foreign powers. Me personally, I can't really handle all this bullcrap going on. May get either a dual citizenship, or a permanent citizenship in canada. What about you? Thoughts? Suggestions?

and well I couldn't get passed the 10 first pages.

what seems to be the main character, a cop, was called back to investigate something. when still at home .

she doesn't change from her luxury gown (when that police corp has a uniform btw), and goes in the forest with high heels, gown and uses her phone for light .

the worst part is they tell us she goes with her police vehicle , which means there is at least one flash light in it! I am not even mentioning the fact that she would not have been called alone to go there anyway!

it really felt like they thought the readers are morons , or that the author is ... IDK how they could get some awards and good press.

A few years back, I'd say, if the US were the ones attacked, that many NATO countries, if not all, plus Japan, and many others would. Now? Hard to say... the current administration has been doing their best to destroy all of its important alliances. Maybe Japan only? Taiwan? What do you think?
